You are SO right. The title is 100% disaster imo.It is much better for people to ignore your show than to bring…
Your point of view is also interesting. Yes that could indeed deter people who would love the drama to watch it because of the title. They should have clearly changed the title. If they had done that, reactions from people would have been less messy.
I was so tired from my day that watching Big Mouth episode actually satisfied me quite well. I'll wait until episode 16 to make my mind on that drama but it's still at least a 9 for me.
It ain't a 10 but I love how all the characters aren't there for nothing and actually reveal many layers of themselves, as well as character development.
It wouldn't surprise me if Ji Hoon finishes his redemption arc and becomes a nicer villain guy than he is right now lol
Ok in the end of the episode, it says "Ride the wind and cut through the water". I'm pretty much sure it was a saying from some General or tactician but I don't remember who. I'm pretty sure I've seen the meaning in an episode of Detective Conan that explained it, but I don't find the explanation on Google.
Does someone know?
Edit: I've found this on internet, I think that's it.
乘風破浪 is a Chinese proverb that represents having great ambitions.
The British might say "to plough through". Another way to understand it is, "surmount all difficulties and forge ahead courageously".
This can also be translated as, "braving the wind and waves", "to brave the wind and the billows", "to ride the wind and crest the waves", or "to be ambitious and unafraid".
Literally it reads: "ride (like a chariot) [the] wind [and] break/cleave/cut [the] waves", or "ride [the] wind [and] slash [through the] waves".
乘風破浪 is a great proverb to encourage yourself or someone else not to be afraid of problems or troubles, and when you have a dream just go for it.
There is an alternate version, 長風破浪, but 乘風破浪 is far more common.
I think one of the drama's main mistake is to have used the same title as the book that got adapted many times in series, movies and animes. It leads to confusion and people who expect the drama to be like the book and the other adaptations get disappointed, and then they are higher likely to give bad ratings because of disappointment.
I know the drama is slightly inspired from the book but the difference is too big and it leads to confusion for viewers. It would be like watching a movie claiming it 's adapted from Harry Potter books but everyone in the movie is an alien and there's no Hogwarts.
The writer was like ok let's go walk around in the city, oh my god the police station is just next to the fire station, ok let's write a story for a new drama now.
I have to admit, it's original, dramas tend to forget firefighters, they should make more dramas about them btw.
During this year we started with dramas about judges, in the middle of the year it was dramas about lawyers and now we are finally getting the prosecutors at the end of the year lmao.
I have a hard time believing that the 3 girls are poor. With their nice clothes, glowing skin and soft hands 😂😂
You don't need to be rich to have glowing skin and soft hands, some people have it naturally. And there's always a way for cheap nice clothes. But to be fair, one of them is good at trading, and saved lots of money on an account she refused to touch, and their aunt is hella rich.
Hopefully this drama will be good, all of his drama choices have been mediocre at best.I think directors are just…
It's more like the dramas he has played in have the same kind of story that targets teenage girls. The drama mainly focus on a FL quite young who is insecure, to make teenage girls relate to her. Then the FL meets her love interest, a handsome guy that attracts other girls, but he's only interested in the FL, because obviously it's like a teenage romance story, and it makes teenage girls/young women dream because they also want a prince charming like that who only likes them. Naturally, in those kind of stories, the ML is often rich and smart lol.
Anyway, I'm sure gonna watch his movie Decibel , it's a military movie. It seems that LeeDongmin/Eunwoo seems to like military movies, since he once said that he watched the movie " The Wolf's Call". That would be more interesting to watch.
An article has already been written about that long ago.
I'd rather watch that other drama " This relationship is a force majeure". That dog thing sounds silly. I already read the webtoon and I had to drop it. The MC was stupid. Decibel sounds interesting.

Better be informed right now if you want to watch it or not.
