How old are you? How can you shame & stereotype people based on their age? I was around 21 when TharnType came out & I hated every bit of it, dropped it midway and what even is Love In The Air? Never even heard of it.
'I told sunset about you' was also a coming of age drama with high school guys as leads but even people in their 40s could sit through it cuz it was beautifully crafted. So your point doesn't make any sense here.

I couldn't finish the Japanese version of mlmu because it wasn't my cup of tea. But do I judge or shame people for loving it? Nope. To each their own.

As someone who didn't even like the japanese version, I think Thai version is even worse. I gave it a chance over and over again until I couldn't stand it anymore. The direction, editing, music everything is a mess. It's like they were in a hurry to release the episodes so they uploaded the raw version without paying much attention to the cinematography.
I don't find people disliking it trying to gaslight others into hating it. Then why are people like you who like this drama trying pull down those who don't like it? Be more receptive of criticism. Just cuz you like something doesn't mean everyone should.

We're already in the 2nd half of the year and yet gmmtv hasn't even finished shooting the shows lined up for part 1. This is what happens when you decide to make 30 dramas a year. Neither the quality nor the timings go right. Plus they keep on recruiting more actors with each breath. As if the actors they already had weren't suffering from lack of significant roles and good content. I wonder when will part 2 shows be finished and released at this rate, not that I care for any of them lol. The part 2 line up sucked anyway except for "Leap Day".

I never said Yibo wasn't harmed. Both of them suffered a lot due to this shit. Xiao Zhan had to apologize on behalf of his obsessive fans that's why I mentioned his case. I don't understand why people hate them for something they didn't even do? It was the author of the fanfic who started it all. Why spew hate on Yibo and Zhan for that? And why tf did the govt had to interfere? Does the chinese govt have nothing better to do? Ruined a perfectly healthy friendship and caused both the guys so much mental & financial harm. And the fans are the most idiotic assholes for making such a big deal out of nothing. What a shame

But the controversy took a toll on Xiao Zhan's mental health and career even though he had nothing to do with it. I don't think he'll take the big leap of working with Yibo again after all the shit he went through. He must be scarred for life. And will the nosy ass Chinese government give them the permission to make another season after getting to know that fans shipped wangxian and yizhan? I don't think so :( they're so homophobic

Words cannot express how much I adore this show. A masterpiece indeed. Rewatched it after so long. Can't believe it's been 5 years since it aired. Yibo as Lan Zhan is my roman empire. I love that he's different in this live action compared to other versions of the story. He's so soft and gentle with his Wei Ying. Such a pookie <3

You're so right. The more bls thai industry makes,the more I find it hard to connect with them. I think it's just doesn't match up to my taste anymore. Gmmtv shows have always been overrated. I personally haven't found a single good bl that stays with me for a long time after Bad Buddy. I feel like my taste has significantly improved over the years after I expanded my horizon in terms of lgbtq media. It's not like Asian media doesn't have the capability to tell stories as efficiently as western media does. It's just that they're too lazy now. Obsessive, immature fans eat up the worst of the shows like it's the best thing ever served to them. Gmmtv has stopped putting any efforts lately they don't even care if the main couple has no chemistry. People buy their merch, hype their mid shows, attend their concerts— why would they ever try to improve? Nothing will change if bl fans don't start rejecting shitty shows. And this applies to shows outside gmm as well. They're equally bad.
