I was so happy about the VIP episodes but I can't access to Alipay(I don't have a passport as well) and Wechat…
I believe Youku has both an iTunes Store and Android store app. Just buy it on your phone and stream it.

You can watch on both. If you want the English subbed version just search for "Word of Honor" in English and not the pinyin "Shan he ling". If you search for the pinyin or Chinese characters only the Chinese subbed version will come up. Enjoy!

No they look fairly decent, definitely not machine. My guess is they are probably the same as the YouTube subs.

Review My Heroic Husband Spoiler
LOL... there is some light around 28/29...
Check out Word of Honor. I think its the best I have seen this year. No need to watch only so-so dramas.

Excellent and insightful article. It is interesting that one of the most frequent questions on the thread is whether the ending is happy, yet so few people (18pct) really feel a strong need to know before watching. Yet this question is routinely answered in unmarked spoilers on the threads that just ruins it for practically everyone else. Hopefully your article makes MDLers more broadly aware that MOST people really don't want or need to know the ending, don't spoil it for them.

I don't want or need to know the ending ahead of time and for me, a good ending is a satisfactory when that is consistent with the story line and the way the characters are written. I have seen really bad and forced happy endings to just please the viewers and fantastic and satisfying tragic endings. What I hate the most is the sad and then happy ending that makes no logic in order to be all things to all people. C-drama does that a lot - someone dies and then with fuzzy logic is resurrected after everyone gets to have a good cry.
On Word of Honor Mar 14, 2021
Gentle suggestion: please mark MAJOR spoilers from the novel/previews and before hiding it under the spoiler tag so that people don't accidentally click on it. The English subs are lagging significantly and many viewers don't want to be spoiled so just out of consideration for everyone else, please be extra careful when it comes to major spoilers - i.e., a major character dies, happy/sad ending, secret mastermind identity etc. Tyvm.

They are speaking Putonghua, which is the way mandarin is spoken in mainland China. In Taiwan they speak Guoyu…
Heheheh... my spoken mandarin is not good enough for me to be snotty about this kind of stuff but I have many friends who speak flawless very sophisticated mandarin that always has me in awe I understand why this kind of stuff bothers them. They don't like dubbed dramas either but they will be bothered if say Northern characters can't speak with Northern accent. I remember they insisted we drive to a far away theatre to watch the non dubbed version of Wuxia just to hear Takeshi Kaneshiro speak authentic Szechuan. "Wrong" accents dont bother me I still prefer non-dubbed dramas but I can broadly tell which regions people are from by the way they speak. And as I think I have mentioned to you, I need to read subs half the time to fully understand what they are saying in Minning Town.

I am not gonna read that machine translated recap but the answer is yes and no. Somewhere in the latest episodes…
Yes he is ZZS maternal older cousin. His father was the king's right hand man.

Ah ok, I rarely watch previews but Jin Wang is ZZS cousin. What happened to his family is still not known, we just know what happened to Four Seasons and Tian Chuang so far.

I doubt because jianghu always tries to steer well clear of chao ting business - its like an unspoken agreement to leave each other well alone. As leader of Tian Chuang he mostly just carry out Jin wang's dirty business, which mostly involves assassinating his political rivals. Jin wang is also after liulijia but that was not one of ZZS's missions, he only learned about Jin wang's interest in it after he left.

But yes ZZS is a very dark character, we haven't dived that much into his back story yet.

Why WKX feeling unwell often?
When he entered Ghost Valley he was made to drink a potion to forget the past but by sheer willpower he held on to his memories so that he could take revenge. He gets migraines when these half buried and traumatic memories come up.

After I was reading this recap of episode 22, does it mean that Shen Shen now knows Zhou Zi Shu's identity?https://ninenovel.net/2021/03/10/word-of-honor-%E5%B1%B1%E6%B2%B3%E4%BB%A4-episode-22-recap/
I am not gonna read that machine translated recap but the answer is yes and no. Somewhere in the latest episodes ZZS tells Shen Shen that he is ZZS from Four Seasons but he doesn't reveal his assassin identity.

I think ZZS is using the shidi very often because he is dying and one of his last wishes is for WKS to help him reinvigorate Four Seasons alongside Chengling so that he can face his shifu when he dies. It is not because he is friend zoning or brother zoning him. He can't even tell bad wine from good anymore so his taste is going at this point. WKS insists on using Ah Xu back to him because what he is really saying is no I won't let you die and if you dare, I will let your belovedFour Seasons stay a wreck. This is a show you must read between the lines.

I am not at all bothered by the shidi issue, it is much ado about nothing. It is very common trope for shixiong…
I guess the difference is for me shixiong shidi shimei relationships don't imply platonic because they are not blood relationships, just disciples of the same master. But I agree that the "heat" and courtship phase of their relationship has faded and seems to have settled into more of a couple with found family phase. I was always more interested in ZZS than WKS and since we seem to be switching more to his backstory, my interest level has picked up. Book readers always have different expectations and experiences, I have on more than one occasion been in that position as well.

It's unfortunate how this CP has completely lost the flirtatious, the fun edge and pretty much seem like brothers…
I am not at all bothered by the shidi issue, it is much ado about nothing. It is very common trope for shixiong and shimei to fall in love in countless historical Chinese fiction so especially in a BL context it doesn't at all automatically brother zone a relationship between shixiong and shidi. In fact to me, it actually suggests the opposite. The relationship is changing because ZZS protective instincts and empathy has been aroused as he understands how deeply traumatised and disturbed WKX has been by his past.

If anyone here is up to date with the drama (ep 25 or smthing?) can u tell me if the drama is still very good…
The pace has slowed somewhat but it is still engaging. I think there are too many sects in the storyline and maybe a tad too many side stories/characters. Also it appears the main villain is revealed already around the halfway point which does take away a bit of the mystery for me but I think its still a very enjoyable watch as we are seeing a lot more character and relationship development even though the plot has slowed. It is definitely not crashing and burning mid way like some of the other dramas I think I know you are referring to.

LOL - Beijing people consider their mandarin the most perfect and are incredibly snobbish about it. My Beijing friends dropped Longest Day in Changan because Jackson Yee plays an intellectual nobleman but his putonghua has a clear common Southern tone whereas Lei Jiayin plays a blue collar military man but he speaks flawless Beijing mandarin. Their biggest issue with the show is that it wasn't dubbed and that took them out of character because the main characters didn't sound the way the should! As for me, the average Beijing taxi driver is the bane of my existence, they roll their tongue so much they are utterly incomprehensible. Nobody was happier than I when smartphones came along and I could just show them where I wanted to go.

Hmm, it would depend on what you mean by real identity!ZZS found out WKX's identity as the Ghost Valley Master…
If you listen carefully to the conversation between ZZS and WKS in ep 22, it is hinted heavily that ZZS has figured it out. WKS (in the bath, yeah don't be too distracted by his chest) thinks he had a narrow escape from being busted by ZZS but he is delusional IMHO. If Scorpian King the head of a rival spy/assassin organisation busted WKS right away, there is no way our ZZS is so much less competent he didn't figure it out some time back either.
