I am enjoying Wu Yuan and Tuxin's interactions the most in this show - their chemistry is amazing. I think both roles are the best acted and most interesting ones. The FL is not annoying and she acts well which is a huge plus but her character isn't that interesting as far as goddesses go...
I think General Song is not that great or selfless a guy - the way he looks at the treasure tells you he likes…
The good news is that I think Xiao Qi is already on to General Song or at least is more guarded towards him. He is still giving him the benefit of the doubt but he has also warned him in a veiled way.
I begin to suspect General Song may have been working for Wang Lin to all along. Remember there is a spy in Xiao Qi's army and in the beginning he was overly interested how Xiao Qi felt about marrying Wang Xuan. At the time, I don't think he had fallen for her yet so he must be trying to feel out Xiao Qi for Wang Lin. The other possibility is he is a Xie clan spy.
The CGI for this is not as good as WOF. But the WOF story is a mess and there is not proper world building. I dropped it. This is funny and the father daughter relationship is hilarious.
There is no such thing as couples with no misunderstandings. But as long as they are not too contrived like 99pct of the ones in dreamland just to create angst it should be acceptable and realistic.
