Couldn't agree more. So disappointing.

According to her Astro is slower but has more content. She has switched to the international version to keep up but noticed the differences. It explains why some of the comments refer to dream scenes that I haven't seen. At first I thought I missed them but evidently Su is dreaming also, which I think only comes up around Ep 16 in our version but it sounds like there are earlier comments that allude to it...

Ah ok... my guess is the international version will lag one week for translation. I am gonna wait as well bc I have to airplay from my ipad the Chinese version but I can play the international one directly from my AppleTV.

She said the dream sequence at 37:45 doesn't end with the lifting of the veil, it goes on and has Su dying and her ordered to be buried with him...
By the way, I checked the Chinese version as well and it is the same as the international.

Yeah my one complaint is Xu Ping started out as so cool and intriguing and only to turn into a total dumbass with mommy issues that is going rotten on a paper thin excuse.

I can't verify for myself since I don't have Astro but someone who does told me she watched both versions and the entire dream sequence is missing from episode 1 of the iQiyi international version.

FYI - I am able to login to the Chinese site with my international membership. So if you don't need subs you should be able to watch...

I understand from another viewer that Astro in Malaysia aired the uncut version of the dreams.

Well it wasn't exactly her finest moment - I mean that was totally airheaded and unrealistic to think she can just beg him to release her shifu on her say so so I am not shocked that he tossed her out. I would have done exactly the same. I am not defending the guy. I just think he was a good person who got put in a terrible situation. He didn't need to and shouldn't have poisoned a kid while trying to save his own and he has certainly paid for his hypocrisy since things didn't end well for him. But he did try to redeem himself.

If you don’t need subtitles you can buy a LongTV (google it) in Malaysia. I subscribe to iQIYI and youku but I don’t subscribe to WeTV because I don’t like that many of their shows and I have to airplay. But LongTV plugs in to my TV and has all Chinese show at most 1-2 days after it comes out for VIP. The server can be a bit slow sometimes but most of the time it’s ok.
