Indeed... Also Bai Lu is a very natural and experienced actress that has been playing lead roles for awhile now... she is a tough act to follow and she is usually paired with very strong MLs. So these dudes are not that terrible but neither are exactly in the same league as her usual counterparts.

I saw it a few weeks ago I thought about buying VIP but didn't because I was busy I didn't have time. I can see 38 is out but now I am blocked bc of region restrictions. A few weeks ago I wasn't but I didn't have VIP so I couldn't watch it. I think the show got licensed to other regions so MangoTV started putting region restrictions on it.
This is not bad. Bai Lu is spirited and funny in this but from the first few it looks like Lai Yi hasn't really gotten into character yet. Hope he improves. He is one that I have been hoping would get lead roles after liking him in support roles but he so far he doesn't seem to quite make that transition well here...

Since most people watch for free they need advertising to be strong (which it isn't) to make money. The reason we went through a recent drama drought is partly because advertising is still very weak so none of the platforms want to launch their best dramas. Maybe that is also why The Wolf is still not out yet.
