Two weeks ago iQiyi told investors they will air "Happiness Within Our Touch, Xingfu Chushou Ke Ji and the Winter is Love, Yue Shang Zhong Huo; The Eight, Min Chu Qiren Chuan and Love A Lifetime, Mu Bai Shou" in Q2. The first two are already airing so I think there is a very good chance for at least one of the last two will as well.... :)

Yes I agree the editing was really odd and many disconnected moments... But maybe they cut so much of her parts because her acting was just bad.

Yes there are 2 (maybe 3) main couples. The main lead is paired up with a very insipid character and the romance is meh. The second lead and his wife are a great couple I mostly care about them. It’s a spy story so romance is peripheral and be prepared for some maybe even all of them to die - not spoiler I am only halfway.

The romance should be non political and not censorship worthy so if it was cut, maybe it is because it was just bad. I don't feel any chemistry between the wallflower He Ying and Ye Chong and my main gripe is they didn't kill her off already. She is seriously awful and nauseating. So I am so happy to hear I was spared any additional scenes of her and Ye Chong. If they were a real couple I see divorce in their future. On the other hand Chi Cheng's romance is hot hot hot.

Yes indeed that is a concern but if there are enough other interesting characters it could stil be ok. I have a feeling this is not going to end that well for anyone - it just feels like one of those very realistic shows where bad things happen to everyone including the leads. I would be surprised if anyone in this drama wins all. It is refreshing which is why I am still watching even though I think its not a great drama.

I am watching this because it is not about the ML and FL dominating the show but about 5 or 6 main characters whose destinies are linked. I am happy we are not spending that much time on any one or two characters but a bunch of them. Otherwise it is just like any other drama where the only ones that matter are the two leads. Not saying it is great it has obvious flaws but I am not troubled by the lack of focus on the so called leads.

Yeah that's where I am too. it isn't super exciting but its not bad and it is a bit too early to judge, happy to give it. a few more.

I am watching on Youku where it says 48 but I think iqiyi has it at 50.

I watched Under the Power, it was really good. Tiger and Rose I dropped after 6 episodes. I am still really angry at Lusi for crashing and burning on Love of Thousand Years halfway through and the ML looks reptilian to me. I may pick it up again much later after my anger dies down...

Sigh... I already watched half of this... I want to drop it but I feel so invested already I don't know what to do. And I am out of lockdown and back to business as usual I don't have that much time anymore to watch stuff...

Indeed... I mean yuqi is tiny so it still works but imagine if they pair him up with a bigger actress... lots of bad things can happen... I for one would not write insurance on that! And honestly as far as idols go he is the total kill joy date... I mean I would only dare to nibble on lettuce at dinner with him... it is a total fan fantasy death knell.

I have to make time to watch dramas and BL is not on my list nor is it something I activey look for although I am open minded. But Winter Begonia is so far the best (by a long margin) show I watched in 2020.
