Yes can ping me on it - I started it 4-5 months ago but it just didn't hook me I watch it when I am very bored. Am stuck at around 18 you will probably finish it sooner than I...I do love the guy's gorgeous grin it makes me smile every time. Which is why I still watch now and then.

Yeah my mom said the same, she wants me to sort it out for her when I am back for x-mas.,, So what are u watching instead?

I googled its on Shuang Xing from 11pm. That is too late for my folks they turn into pumpkins by then. Can you watch it on demand after it airs?

Heheh, yes @Erudite just mentioned. Which Astro channel exactly do you subscribe to? I got to get my mom to fix her subscription. I wasted a lot of time last night trying to teach her how to use the VPN to watch this on Youtube. She is very technology challenged.

Ty for sharing, that is so interesting. I didn't realize they also have to dub over Western shows. With Chang'an although I was excited to hear real voices, I was also let down at the same time and not jsut by the dubbing over. It was mostly by Tian Qi and Li Bi half the time, they would fade in and out in the middle of the dialogue making it especially hard to follow. I would observe though that even in Western movies or TV shows they never seem to calibrate the sound quite right - the surround is always too loud relative to the dialogues and your audio is either too loud or too soft depending on whether there is action or dialogue. So much depends on the actor's voice pitch I got so tired of constantly messing around with my sound settings that I finally gave up. The dialogue also fades in and out in Western shows unless its on super loud. It scares me that I have gotten so used to dubbing I almost prefer it at this point... But hey, they got to start somewhere and I am glad c-drama is going in the direction of real voices and possibly even on-site recording...

I am watching free on YouTube set my VPN to India. I am hooked I hope Astro gets it for u ASAP then - Astro's subs are usually excellent, even better than Viki.
Anyway I think Blossom in Heart may be worth checking out. I didn't start it bc I got a tip this was coming and I never watch the same actor in different roles at the same time (LYT is also FL). But if you can't access this then maybe try that and let me know what you think?

I just finished ep 3, it is really excellent. Its political but not heavy in a slow and boring way but gripping with many twists (which hopefully they don't overdo). I am mentally prepared for a tragedy already so anything less will be a positive surprise and with so many episodes to go, can worry about it later.?!?!? This is the best role I have seen Luo Jin in so far.

It seems not to be licensed for any region on Viki. I tried just about everything with my VPN, which doesn't have any China servers unfortunately. On Youtube I was able to watch it from India.

Ok good - I like them to use real voices but I am not a huge fan of on-site recording - I think they did that with LD Changan the audio was so spotty in places I had to watch with subtitles which I generally find annoying.

Yeah... every couple of months I casually re-watch 1 or 2 episodes when I am bored and then get sucked in all over again and next thing I know I re-watched a big chunk. Its terrible habit I can't break.

Love the trivia... I haven't watched LYT since Condor Heroes I guess her character here may be more subdued or maybe it was just the pavilion scene. Anyway super excited about this.
