Yeah they fooled me too at first but they don't anymore. The 3rd prince's features are more spread out. The 4th prince's features are all concentrated in the middle of his face. Now that the 3rd prince has lots of screentime, they are unmistakably different.

I find it quite unbelievable that the empress of an enemy kingdom can come and go as she pleases and out of everyone she seduces the 3rd prince of said enemy kingdom. Why hasn't anyone seized the Beiyuan throne in her absence??? Obviously her staff lacks imagination bc I would rescue Changjue the heir and declare her a prostitute and a traitor and make myself both Left and Right Chancellor . And as for 3rd prince... you would think there are no women in Qi state that he needs to date a woman who looks like his mother. The whole arc is beyond stupid. 🤦🏻‍♀️ And Maggie Huang looks shockingly old.

It is a quite entertaining but it has logic flaws. And the FL was quite a smart character until it SEEMS she just got super dumb. There could be a reason/higher purpose to this so for the time being I am giving it the benefit of the doubt. But if she keeps staying stupid then....

It was so clearly implied they were lovers I have no idea why anyone thought they were mother and son. Even a bad translation could not have been that bad.🤦🏻‍♀️

I think she is kind of half faking it. She has short term memory loss not exactly amnesia. But her instincts are telling her she is in danger and trust no one and lie is the best way forward.

Wuyin only likes much older women. She is safe from him.

Its a very watchable drama - it does have some flaws but idk why anyone would abandon it. Trailers are super misleading but I won't comment further since I haven't watched them.
