No, I don't think it was a dream. But I admit that the lighting in the scene where she wakes him up opens for that interpretation. I think FL returned because she couldn't live without ML - and since he forgave her for her betrayal back then, they were able to marry.
Anyone know the titles of 2 of the ending (of episodes) songs? One is translated like: "Someone ascended the bronze throne as inteded. Tear of their masks and you'll see hypocrisy". The other one is translated like: "I step toward you. The person that cannot let you go is me. Honestly, I'm willing to accept our ending".

I don’t understand the fuss about this show. It’s a full blown revenge plot story with ALL the tropes but also a strong storyline counteracting these tropes and full bodied characters that show development. Furthermore it doesn’t take itself too seriously so you don’t have to feel much angst along the way (at least I didn’t and I’m a bit sensitive about that). I found it highly entertaining even if this couple had everything but the kitchen sink thrown at them, LOL.

I see what you mean and to some extent I agree. But 2ML did get punished at least for what he did in the second timeline (as did his father for his crimes). In what way isn’t clear since it’s only shown in a very short clip. 2FL didn’t get any real punishment, but she was the main reason the bad history did not repeat itself, so I see that as her redeeming herself (by choosing to back off in regards to ML and removing 2ML from the equation). It would have been better if the souls of 2FL and 2ML left the second timeline again after redeeming themselves, but I guess the writer wanted a more lighthearted ending of the show.
