1. Yes. 2. Lighthearted and very funny. 3. Lots of that - incredibly sweet couple. 4. Yes, Multiple and real (not those fish-kisses we often get in lighthearted shows).
(10/10) This is one of the best feel-good shows I've ever seen - and I've seen a lot. I had a hard time finishing this, because I didn't want it to end. Btw, it's the first time I have ever considered a man "cute". Bravo Liu Yin Jun 💕

The story is set in the republican era and revolves around a young Marshal and the woman he loves. The storyline is that ML and FL are married and happy together. Then enters 2FL who is the daughter of a wealthy family. She schemes her way into ML’s mansion by framing FL for the death of ML’s parents. In order to get financial support for his army, ML divorces FL and marries 2FL. Unable to let go of FL (whom he supposedly love) he keeps her locked up, torturing and raping her - inadvertently causing the death of his own child. He is led to believe the fetus is 2ML’s (2FL pays a doctor to say the fetus is conceived at a time where FL is with 2ML). ML also lets this vicious 2FL torture FL. 2ML tries to get FL away from ML but fails because ML threatens FL with hurting people she cares about. When ML finally realizes he has been deceived, he submits 2FL to a rape by a man who originally wanted to rape FL. Then he kills that man and afterwards throws 2FL out of a window, thinking that she would die. Needless to say she survived, right? The region ML is protecting gets attacked and to secure FL, he sends her to 2ML even if the two men hate each other. That is actually one of the few things that makes sense - at least at that time. At some point 2ML tells FL that ML is assumed dead. FL refuses to believe that and one day she meets ML. Only this time he is unable to remember her, supposedly because his head was injured in the fight. At his side is 2FL, now claiming to be another person. In fact she is drugging ML into amnesia and intends to marry him which he wants to since he sees her as his savior/caretaker after he was badly hurt. But seeing FL makes him uneasy so he wants to find out who she is. Meanwhile FL investigated and in the end discovered that it is 2ML who colluded with 2FL in order to make FL give up on ML and marry him. It all ends in ML shooting 2ML in the shoulder and 2ML grabbing a gun, shooting at ML/FL. The last scene shows FL laying down flowers at a grave. I don’t read Chinese, so I don’t know who’s grave it is, but a man comes to her side. Sadly, you only see him from the side/behind, so I’m not sure if it’s ML. I choose to think it is and that the grave is her father’s (whom 2ML killed and buried in an unknown place). But as I say, it’s only a guess.
