You are right. Many of these short productions end that way. Well, we are allowed to hope :-)

SYNOPSIS - SPOILER ALERT!!!
FL is reading a novel she has been following for a while. This time the writer announces that it won’t be continued, due to the lack of inspiration, and encourages the reader to make up their own ending to the story. Still angry about wasting her time on the story and sorry about not getting an ending for her favorite female character, she opens an envelope that turns out to contain only a Wonderful Travel Certificate. Still annoyed, she goes to sleep with the certificate lying on her chest.
Next she wakes up in a bed with an unknown man lying beside her. Confronting him and exploring the room, she finally realizes that she has somehow transmigrated into the novel. After sending him off, she tries to get back home by going to sleep. When it doesn’t work, she decides to go to the brothel to stop her Prince Consort (ML) performing there. Something her character in the novel, the Princess, supposedly ordered him to before FL entered the body. Since she is now stuck in this body and world, she wants to try and change the destiny of her character, which is to be killed by the Prince Consort (ML).
Her change in personality and actions stirs up things and soon she is balancing on a knife’s edge, between the Queen Dowager, ML and a mysterious man (2ML) with whom the Princess seems to have a deeper relationship. Piece by piece she has to solve the puzzle of her character, while trying to get on the good side of ML.
Not spoiling too much, this has a happy ending.

I agree, they should. At least FL should have apologized for dragging him into their mess in the scene where she thanks him for making her realize what she wanted (someone to risk her life for).

I agree to a certain point. He was the biggest victim of this story - and FL created a "monster" by using him......But, just because you are hurt, you don't have to turn evil.

The synopsis sounds like the plot in numerous Chinese productions I've seen.

Since it's a love of 3 lifetimes, I suspect there to be 2 more seasons at some point, so I'll wait for that.

Agreed. I was taught that if you don’t have anything good to say, then don’t speak at all. The world would be a better place if more people lived by that rule. RIP, Lee Sun Kyun.

As I see the ending, FL - and the other main leads - are yet again “reborn”. That is why FL appears in front of ML even if she died in his arms. Since ML said that he watched her die 3 times, I guess that all four characters are caught in a circle/loop where FL takes revenge on the man that hurt her. Until she finds the right way to break the circle/loop, they will probably continue being “reborn”.
