In RH, their relationship problem is because of being long distant romance, right? Which isn't that comparable. Forbidden love between a rich girl and a poor guy is typical in Asian Drama, but FL in this drama being adopted change everything. Other mother can't really disown their children but this mother can absolutely can and her father and brother isn't gonna do anything about it. Even in this drama, they highlights that fact with ZXR who acts as a foil to XQ.

Please, most people aren't orphans, get adopted by a psychopath of a mother, a coward of a father and have a creepy brother. It's fine if you don't like her personality, but it's kind of dismissive and insensitive of you when you compared her situation with 'we all struggling with our parents and their rules'.

I think people have certain expectation about YY's dramas and this one isn't it. Even ML in this one, YY's character, isn't flawless based on his reaction about SJ's leaving.

Maybe renters/owners of surrounding units beside the FL aren't home, so they aren't allow to enter. Imaging if a TV missing during the whole operation or something. It's the end goal for her character's arc. She has traumas and being depressed and you people want her to act normal. Just act normal, why are you being so weird??? Imaging talking like that about people with mental health issues. This isn't a fluffy lovey-dovey drama where everyone from the leads to their supporting characters being all perfect.

Just to be clear, our leads aren't perfect well-adjusted people, all right. And that's the story. All the scenes about them being orphans, etc isn't there just to be wasting screen time, ok. Both have traumas and serious case of abandonment issue. It's obvious about the FL, the ML is too with how he overreacted about SJ's transferring.
