I saw someone compared this drama with Jane Austen's Persuasion, and I think it's absolutely correct. The comparison become even more appropriate considering the reception on the FL's personality. Everyone love the Elizabeth in Pride & Prejudice because of her witty personality, while the FL in Persuasion, Anne is way less popular because she's like XQ. In the latest adaptation of Persuasion (which is so bad), Netflix even change Anne's personality to be more Lizzy-like, more witty and bold which entirely misses the point of the novel.

I think this will play beautifully against XQ's mother backward mindset about judging SY's characters based on his parents. She approved of JY because of his family, but guess what his family is messed up too, his father has a mistress and he has the same mother as SY.
