I think in general people are so easy to leave insults toward the FLs, especially compared to the MLs. A goofy nice FL like you said can be easily called stupid or dumb. A witty and bold FL can be called loud and annoying.

You can see this drama as 'Glory of Special Forces' & 'Have a crush on you' crossover. 😂 This fits nicely to both of those dramas.

I remember when this drama just announced and no one know who cast as the FL yet, someone on here comment something like "good luck brave actress, she's gonna get alot of hate'. So it seems they tone her down on the drama.

I think she has confidence in her skills and abilities so she's more outspoken in that context. But with love and family, she feels way less secured so she's weak. It makes sense to me.

From the novel's spoilers, FL's mother isn't just mean, she's a outright psychopath. Kind of understand FL's personality now. This drama is way heavier than fluffy YAMG so far, off putting at first but after adjusting expectation a little, I'm quite enjoy this.

Wise move, IMO. If not, it would be boring in earlier eps because our leads barely have any worthwhile scenes together.

I always feel the stake is lacking if there're no romance. These two are just strangers, why would I care and they have to invent some plot device to make sense of the fact he is helping her. Just write a romance for god's sake

I don't want to read too much in to this, but It seems ZY is more bold & cutely bossy toward HMH than anyone else. GF's behaviors if you know what I mean.

So I just watched the old booting ceremony, and I saw HMH and ZY worn couple shirts I think. 🤔HMH worn one with a number-one sign while ZY worn one with victory sign. They also did some challenge. Do these sign have any special meaning in Chinese or this drama specifically? Can someone please explain abit to me? 😅

However, I think the author take inspiration from Western dragons more for this novel, I think. TY's strongest attribute is his fire which is more inline with Western dragons while Chinese Dragon is more associated with water, rain and storm. TY being filthy rich is also a characteristic of Western dragon. And of course, the general attitude of the Taolist to TY.
