I’m not sure I even like any characters now tbh 😝.XL is too committed to his military duties to live the life he wants with the woman he loves.TJ has the necessary backstory and brains for a riveting revenge and comeback, but is too boringly obsessed with XY.XY loses her purpose and mopes around so much now that TJ is married and XL is emotionally unavailable? it’s sad to see a female main character become so one dimensional, especially when she said she doesn’t care for love in the first season.CX causes his empress to be a villain over his carelessness and obsession with XY. 🥵

Looks like the next couple of episodes will be pretty angsty. 😣 My only complaint about this drama is how dragged out the bs from the Xue Family is. All of them annoys me soooo much. Dingfei 2.0 and XW’s counterattacks are giving me some solace but not enough.

Is it a good drama? I have wanted to watch this since I watched the story of kunning. He's really a good actor.
I started this bc of Kunning. It’s similar in the sense it’s about an evil/anti-hero FL who gets a second chance to make amends. She is also quite popular with the men like Ning. I will continue watching but I don’t think it’s as good as Kunning. A bit slower and less action imo
