Guys I am enjoying this drama overall but WTH is with this fox clan plot? It was SOOOO OBVIOUS who MJ was after the dessert plot/resentment dream but our leads didn’t get it? That was annoying imo

He is a delusional 2nd male lead. It looks like the plot will try to redeem him

It’s hard not to pity TJC as XL (Lost you forever) regardless of which ML you rooted for. The almost lovers, selfless love, and doomed general storyline still got me crying 5 MONTHS AFTER the show ended thx to a YouTube FMV.

The scene where the portrait of XY’s parents turn to her and XL always get me. The author truly made a memorable character and TJC brought him to life just to break my heart

I pray TJC gets to star as the ML in an epic, fantasy, romance drama. It’s been 5 months and I still am NOT over Xiang Liu. I hope and pray we will see a happy ending where he gets the girl, have kids, and live in peace.

I think being imprisoned by the emperor, stripped off his title, and fearing for his fav son’s safety daily is a much better punishment.

Watching episode 25, I like how the emperor punishes Song Mo’s horrible father. I’m glad FL stopped Song Mo

the angst in s2 is driving me crazy. I’m not sure I even like any characters now tbh 😝.XL is too committed to his military duties to live the life he wants with the woman he loves.TJ has the necessary backstory and brains for a riveting revenge and comeback, but is too boringly obsessed with XY.XY loses her purpose and mopes around so much now that TJ is married and XL is emotionally unavailable? it’s sad to see a female main character become so one dimensional, especially when she said she doesn’t care for love in the first season.CX causes his empress to be a villain over his carelessness and obsession with XY. 🥵
