Looks like the next couple of episodes will be pretty angsty. 😣 My only complaint about this drama is how dragged out the bs from the Xue Family is. All of them annoys me soooo much. Dingfei 2.0 and XW’s counterattacks are giving me some solace but not enough.

I started this bc of Kunning. It’s similar in the sense it’s about an evil/anti-hero FL who gets a second chance to make amends. She is also quite popular with the men like Ning. I will continue watching but I don’t think it’s as good as Kunning. A bit slower and less action imo

In Ep 1, vengeful YL beheaded Duke Xue’s daughter and throws her head and another’s at the officials in the palace. However, we don’t know what happened to Duke Xue or his son in this alternate universe. Can a novel reader pls spoil or tell me about their demise in this rebirth universe?

So happy the deputy guy is slain by XW. Can’t wait for Duke Xui’s, his children, and the empress dowager’s demise 😈

Srsly! I thought how the Duke didn’t even question the origin or motive behind how he got the Marquis’ letter soo dumb. He just takes it happily and is like “god is on my side.” 🤡

How will eliminating Yan family benefit Duke of Xue?

Maybe I missed something but I don’t understand why Duke of Xue think getting rid of Yan family is a good idea UNLESS he is on the rebels side? The reason why everyone is so freaked out by Yan family is the Yan family control the troops. Duke of Xue KNOWS they are not traitors (hence why he has to fabricate evidence) so WHY does he want to push them away and get rid of the only family that gives them a fighting chance against rebels?

The drama is pushing blinded greed/ power struggle as the reason. Is this it? It seems so weak and dumb imo.

Im just expressing my opinion like everyone else on this page. If you don’t like it, move along. There is nothing wrong about caring for animals, whether real or fake.

Sadly, I am not getting hooked like I was hoping to be. Also, I know the animals probably didn’t get hurt but I hated the horse race scene. Will try watching again tomorrow. :/

I know it’s early but I can’t stand Xue Shu already (daughter of Duke Xue)!!!! She is causing so many problems for Ning due to a stupid misunderstanding. How dragged out is this jealousy and misunderstanding going to last? can someone please spoil?!
