In the original novel, Anueng was aged 18, which is still a minor in Thailand. To "fix" this, the makers of this drama aged both Anueng and Nueng by 2 years. But some people still had problems with the age gap. My view is if two consenting adults are in a relationship, it is no ones business but their own.

I agree that initially Anueng was annoying, stalkerish and a bit immature (Nueng would also agree with you). In many respects, Anueng was the opposite of Nueng. But for reasons I could probably write an essay on (but won't), their relationship, especially as it developed in season 2, impacted me emotionally more than any other drama I've ever watched. Their improbable love triumphed over what seemed like impossible odds, and this made me very happy. I'm keenly waiting for any news of what their next project might be, because I'll be watching it.

The other main Thai studio that produces these very low budget, GL web dramas is JPC Media. I like to watch videos from these studios when I've got maybe 15-30 minutes to kill, or if I just want to watch something very simple and fluffy while my brain is switched off. As long as you understand what these dramas are (and what they're not), they can be excellent time fillers for fans of GL content. Having said all that, this particular drama is probably the worst one I've watched from the H'our studio. The story was quite boring and there were some annoying sound issues. Also, the random pixelation of the women's chests looks like it was done by someone who had just had a stroke. Sometimes it blurred out skin 10 cm above where cleavage would be if it was visible, which it wasn't, then at other times, unblurred cleavage was visible. It just made no sense.

It originally wasn't going to be split like this, because it really is just one story. With the incredible success of the first few episodes, the show makers decided to reshoot some (or many) of the scenes in the second half of the drama to improve its quality. They also hired someone to produce the English subtitles so they didn't have to just use an AI translator. This additional work took time, so when the final 6 episodes were ready, they decided to call them Season 2. Personally, I thought that was silly considering it's just the second half of the same story (from the novel), but someone in marketing decided it would be a good idea.
