In the book, there is a whole subplot about Nueng and Anueng's sex life. Specifically, they are into BDSM. The drama (understandably) skips this subplot, but does give a small nod to the book when Anueng asks Nueng to bite her when they are having sex. So, the cucumber reference was related to this - with a joke being made about a cucumber being the same shape as a dildo.

And that's fine. We all like different things in our dramas. For me, Blank is by far the best GL drama I've seen, and is the drama I've most enjoyed watching in 2024.

I'm glad you agree that adults can date adults, but you AGAIN called Anueng a "child" even though she is an ADULT. You need to stand in the corner and chant 1000 times, a 21 year old woman is an adult and not a child, because for some reason, you simply can't get it through you apparently thick skull that Anueng (WHO IS 21 YEARS OLD) is an ADULT. Your recalcitrance is impressive.

A short, sweet and cute web-drama. The acting was serviceable and the plot kept my interest. I felt the chemistry between the leads was somewhat lacking. But having said that, if you like GL content, then this short drama is absolutely worth 30 minutes of your life.

She is an ADULT. You know she is an ADULT because it has been explained to you several times already. ADULTS date other ADULTS all the time. It is normal for an ADULT to date another ADULT. It is weird for someone to have a problem with an ADULT dating another ADULT. So, if 21 is too young to date in your opinion, how old do they need to be? 25? 30? 35? Please enlighten me, and then explain why you happily watched "23.5" which had 15 and 16 year old students dating.

And yet you've watched "Goblin" in which Kim Go Eun played a minor schoolgirl who has a relationship with a man nearly twice her age (ignoring Gong Yoo's character's immortality).

So by your logic, if a 30 year old puts on a school uniform, they can't date anyone because they are a child. Or if a 40 year old acts immaturely, they can't date anyone because they are a child. If a 22 year old Asian woman has a youthful appearance, she can't date anyone because she is a child. And even though its been pointed out to you repeatedly that not only is the actress an ADULT, the character she is playing is an ADULT, you still want to refer to her as a "child". Normal people accept that adults can date other adults. Why don't YOU grow up and stop acting like a child.

Others have said it, but I'll say it as well. Anueng is an ADULT, not a child. Sure, there is a big age gap between them, so if you don't like age gap dramas, or lesbian dramas, then DON'T WATCH THEM. No one is forcing you to watch dramas you don't want to watch. But calling an adult a "child" to support your prejudice is just (if you'll excuse the pun) childish.

I'm not sure of the actress's name, but the character she plays (Dr Wan Viva) is one of the two main characters in the drama "Affair" https://kisskh.at/768499-affair, although in this drama, she will be played by a different actress.

I agree. I think they made a mistake with those new actors. I liked the idea, but the execution was poor, mostly because the new actors didn't look much older than Faye and Yoko. (Having said that, Asians tend to retain a youthful appearance even when they are older, at least in the eyes of westerners.) If the flash forward was only supposed to be 10 years or so in the future, they should have used Faye & Yoko with wigs and some makeup to make them look older. Personally, I would have liked a flash forward way into the future - something like a 64 year old Anueng pushing an 80 year old Nueng in a wheel chair, or maybe Anueng just bringing her a birthday cake with "80" on it - to show their love lasted (obviously using new actors). A flashback to Anueng telling Nueng that their age gap is good because she'll be able to look after Nueng when she is old would have been an excellent payoff for the fans.

I really enjoyed the last episode. It was a little bit different from the book, but I liked how they ended it. Please be aware that there also is a post credits scene.

You'll need to open an account before you can buy a ticket. During that process, you will be asked for your Passport number or 13 digit ID number (which I think it a Thai ID number). Not having a passport, I just made up an ID number. Just be aware, that the system will check the validity of your number by checking if the last digit is correct, based on the other digits. So, if you get a message that your ID number is invalid, simply change the last digit to something else. One of the 10 digits (0 to 9) WILL work - just keep changing the last digit until you get the one that works.
Hopefully that all makes sense.

In case you're not aware, Friday's event / final episode is livestreamed. You've got to buy a ticket though. I bought mine today.

I also purchased in livestream/rerun ticket. Even though I'm very pleased to see the final episode a week early, and be able to see the exclusive content, my main motivation was to support 9StarStudios so they produce more GL content … especially if it stars Faye & Yoko. More age-gap GL romance dramas please.

As I've mentioned replying to some other comments, this problem is due to the fact that the drama made Anueng 2 to 3 years older than she is in the book. In the book, when this is all happening, Anueng is still legally a minor in Thailand (even though she is 19). So her legal guardian (i.e. parents/grandma) have every legal right to make her do what they want. But in the drama, Anueng is 22, and an adult, which changes everything, at least legally. However, as I understand it, in Asian cultures, there is strong pressure on adult children to remain obedient to their parents long after they reach the age of legal adulthood.

My improved English subtitles for the most recent episode is now available. I took the liberty to include something which is in the original book, but the drama left out. You'll know when you see it.
