This series is way better than GAP. I like GAP but Blank is legit. The kisses were so intense! and the chemistry…
I look forward to the day when GL dramas routinely have the production quality of a Netflix KDrama. Obviously we aren't there yet, but BLANK has shown me that an incredibly engaging and entertaining drama can be produced even if lacks the polish of dramas with higher budgets.
So far for me is the best gl series. It has everything the chemistry is unreal non other couple has that they…
I'm curious, have you watched "Blank"? I ask because I would have agreed with you about "Gap" being the best GL … until "Blank" came along. For me, "Blank" is now easily the best GL series.
A short, sweet drama about two people getting to know each other and clarifying what they want. If you have 45 minutes to spare and you like simple slice of life romance dramas (or GL content of any type), then I recommend you give this one a watch.
Omg what part of Nueng and Anuneg's relationship gives off mother and daughter vibes ? 😂
To be fair, Chet doesn't (YET) know about Nueng and Anueng's "special" relationship. So, with their age difference and obvious affection for each other, I can (at least) understand Chet's confusion.
I've updated the English Subs for the latest episode (S02E03). As per usual, I fixed some errors, but mostly just improved the readability and clarity (including timing) of the subtitles. This was an episode I was able to really get my teeth into. Giggle … sorry. Links to all episodes in my Profile.
Wow! They went there. I was certain they would not touch the BDSM subplot from the book - but I was wrong (and happy to be wrong). I give credit to the writers for being brave enough to be true the original novel. Just when I thought this show couldn't get any better … it gets better. I love this show so freakin' much.
I haven't read the novel, what parts of S2E2 differ from the source material? (I don't mind spoilers)
In the book … * Nueng designs a restaurant, not an art gallery. * Sam (correctly) guesses to Nueng that she and Anueng are now together. In the drama, Anueng admits to Sam that they are together, but Nueng doesn't want anyone to know. * Anueng is quiet and awkward one day because she is concerned that Nueng will think she is weird because she asked Nueng to bite her when they had sex the previous night. Nueng assures her she is fine with it and likes it. The drama completely omits this whole BDSM subplot. * Nueng and Anueng are watching the movie "50 Shades of Grey" when Chet visits (which bothers him). In the drama, Chet just finds a Sapphic novel (which bothers him). * Anueng goes go to meet Chet's family at a hotel owned by his family, and Nueng later joins her. In the drama, both Nueng and Anueng decline Chet's invitation to meet his family (only for dinner). [It may be that Anueng meets Chet's family in a later episode of the drama]. * Various things happen while Nueng and Anueng are visiting Chet's family at the hotel - e.g. Chet proposes to Nueng and is rejected / Chet starts to get suspicious that Nueng is seeing someone else / Nueng is getting increasingly concerned that she and Anueng will be discovered. None of this happens in the drama, but rather Nueng's housemaid catches them kissing at the end of episode 2.
Blank will be a series that we'll be talking about for a long time and it will be deeply missed from my heart.…
I agree. Even though it doesn't have the polish of a big budget Korean Drama, in terms of story telling and pure emotional impact, it is (in my opinion) exceptionally good. It is easily my favourite drama so far 2024, and I can't see this changing in the next six months.
their intimate scenes be making me blush like i’m not suppose to be there lmao like wow
I love how their intimate scenes are so emotional and sexy, and this is achieved basically without showing any skin. Love scenes don't have to be pornographic to be impactful and effective in the narrative.
I've just finished resubbing episode 2. As per usual, I've worked to fix errors, improve clarity and improve the readability of the subtitles. All episodes are available via links in my profile. Enjoy!
does anyone know any good gl ( movie/drama anything ) which are non toxic, lots of green flag characters ( even…
The H'our YouTube channel has a lot of very low budget, quite amateur, but fun and very cute/fluffy GL short dramas. They are all pretty much zero angst with no red flags at all (as best as I can remember). If you're looking for some VERY light and fluffy dramas to snack on between meals, then give these a try. Some are better than others, but I enjoyed them for what they are. Anyway, you'll soon work out if they are for you or not: https://www.youtube.com/@hourchannell There are some other YouTube channels that also produce GL short dramas. If you start watching the H'our ones, the algorithm will feed them to you … or just search. I will mention one more - a Vietnamese GL weekly dramas series that I watch and quite enjoy. Again, very low budget and pretty amateur/cheesy, but also very fluffy. So far, there are about 25 episodes available. Here is episode 1. https://youtu.be/QYRPa2TNVa4
1.) Always be near Nueng.
2.) Be as cute as hell.
