i feel the same way. the premise is really good IMO, but it's what they do with it in those 55 min that falls…
Ya..I got tired of waiting for something substantial to plot to happen and then very less of it actually happened and the cliffhanger...
I dropped it after Jundai's death...

The key word was "socially inexperienced" ....i mentioned socially inexperienced people who are more into academics than social life which is the cohort being shown here...
I am sorry to hear about your friend...I hope the person has actually gotten diagnosed from a expert psychiatrist or psychologist and is undergoing necessary therapy...Good luck

The irony is that some of the people calling this drama unrealistic are behaving exactly like the characters they're finding unrealistic...
FL is passionate just like the commentors passionately expressing their opinions, she is stubborn just like the commentors arguing why they're right, and she is focused on herself just like some commentors refusing to accept that others might see things differently". 😂
And for people who find Sejin's character unrealistic...he spies on his senior, crosses boundaries, eavesdropping and gossips...isn't that what the whole entertainment industry and social media thrives on? Or people don't have neighboring aunties or irritating relatives who want to know everything about random stranger's life?? At least Sejin has a reason

The characters are appearing unrealistic to them while they are exhibiting the same character traits👏👏👏

Calling the first arc draggy and repetitive just because the central mystery takes time to unfold doesn't automatically…
TLDR...thank you for taking the time to write an essay/ generate one using AI🤣🤣 in response to my review
From your opening paragraph (which is the only one I read)...I can tell you're enjoying the drama. Good for you😊😊
My viewing experience was different...as I've stated in my review above...the drama was underwhelming for me, and I don't think it deserves any more of my time...I've dropped it, shared my experience, and respectfully moved on.
At the end of the day, we all watch dramas differently...take away different things from them. ....there's no right or wrong way to experience it...enjoying something doesn't automatically make one's interpretation more valid than someone else's who didn't enjoy it as much.... we can simply disagree without having to preach each other that one of us has somehow misunderstood what we're watching. ...

I can understand some of you really dislike FL or dont like how realistic this is, but downvoting such good drama…
So true...
This drama reminds me of my own academic life
I guess people have gotten used to unrealistic perfect characters and influencers that any depiction of realistic human flaws feels uncomfortable..
I myself am not happy with the FL or ML, but underneath the frustration over their actions I understand that this is what devloping social skills looks like..messy, hurtful, imperfect and sometimes even cringey

Is this love on the spectrum. Are the FL & ML nuerodivergent... Or it's another case of bad communication..ML…
This is completely normal human behaviour of socially inexperienced people who are mkre focused on academics than social life...also ML has gone through major trauma, though he has recovered physically and mentally even emotionally, making up for it socially takes times...he is guarded and takes his time with people...
Fl has just shifted majors, has been betrayed by her friend...is in major where everyone is ahead of her and she has to make up for lost time, plus has been overprotected her entire life...she is under stress and is acting out, overcompensating....
These are normal humans coping with their life...
Human lives are messy, imperfect, nonlinear,..the chracters are socially inexperienced hence their "apparent awkwardness"

exactly....i think most people are forgetting this context.....that though these people may be "grown-up"…
Seriously..right...
This is actually normal coping mechanisms and part of growing up...
People are so used to social media perfectionism that if someone says they are sad, it gets diagnosed as depression...normal fear/anxiety interpreted as anxiety...
This is part of being normal human and growing up...some exoerience it late, some early...in fact many now considering the social media, educational competition are actually processing these much later than prev generations...

Neuro divergent is a psychiatric diagnosis...Normal people who are still developing communication and social skills…
Missing social cues is often just a matter of social inexperience, not a neurological difference.
You are confusing a temporary trauma and stress response with a lifelong neurological conditions. The ML having gone through a major disease and amputation has lost time, experience and is living with peeople who can reject him,.he'll obviously be gaurded and tke his time...and the FL has suddenly shifting majors a massive life stressors. She is acting out, and overcompensating....these are exactly how normal people process trauma and stress..
Do you expect someone who has lost their limb and career to have same experiences as regular other individuals? Someone who has had a major academic upheaval or lost a job to be perfect and sorted??

Autism Spectrum Disorder and ADHD are serious, formal clinical diagnoses. Labeling everyday social awkwardness or a lack of social practice or even adjusting to life changes as 'being on the spectrum' or 'neurodivergent' waters down what these actual clinical conditions mean." And over-pathologises normal human behaviour...

I am sorry to hear about your flatmates....but I do hope they consulted experienced psychiatrist or psychologists before saying they are under Spectrum...there are therapies and treatment for the same helping individuals live normal lives

Mental illness is a CLINICAL DIAGNOSIS....not some trendy buzzwords to be thrown around casually..Can we please…
You have freedom of expression, not a license to diagnose...labelling mental illnesses on characters is a massive reach....you don't get to hide behind "freedom of expression" to shield yourself from valid criticism...amd someone preaching about freedom of expression is also telling "you have no right"🤣🤣 freedom of expression goes both ways . ...
and you are just throwing around serious psychological terms without understanding their actual depth, meaning, or even relevance to the narrative...instead of hiding behind an AI-generated co mment and attacking others, take your own advice: you go..actually learn psychology and meaning of "freedom of expression vs license to diagnose" yourself before trying to use it to lecture others.

the characters are crazy, I think they have mental illnesses all of them and it's very waird story. actually this…
Mental illness is a CLINICAL DIAGNOSIS....not some trendy buzzwords to be thrown around casually..
Can we please stop labeling every single character who lacks perfect social skills or is just trying to find their way as mentally ill?
Seriously, since when did the baseline human condition become a clinical diagnosis?
Real humans are messy and imperfect.....someone can be highly intelligent and deeply thoughtful, yet still say something completely tone-deaf or shocking.... someone can be well-meaning but very very irritating.
Characters don't need to be morally pure or socially flawless to be realistic....infact such characters don't exist in real life...if you find them, run, they are faking it for some reason...

Social media has warped our expectations so much that we’ve forgotten real life involves navigating human friction, mistakes, and awkwardness. Let characters just be beautifully, realistically flawed without pathologizing their personality quirks!

I found it a little insensitive

Yes..first thing she asked was why he picked up so late?? And then tells him she'll break up if her mom says she doesn't agree...and she'll save her best friend not him...
Like she wants only physical stuff from him?? She is too proactive that way (not that its wrong, but it shouldn't be the only thing in the relationship)

Have to say this as I came across comments on neurodivergence...neurodivergence is a CLINICAL DIAGNOSIS....not to be thrown around casually..
