My post is about the entire dynamic up until ep 6...not on whether their actions are understandable or not I understand your comments but we are talking about 2 different things here My statement is my POV of various reasons the current dynamic is UNHEALTHY BEGINNING (not even unhealthy relationship per se)...

Your comment is about explaining why Minjae rejected Yu Jin (all good reasons one should consider before entering a relationship), whereas my post is more about the current dynamic between them as of drama developments upto ep6.... I am looking at the dynamic that has developed between them: he's rejected her three times, she's persisted, and now that he's agreed to be with her, he's still keeping the relationship at arm's length..
In earlier episodes ,there was a skeleton of a child which nanny Cheng was hiding , which the 1st aunt discovered when she was checking the nanny...what was that about? Any one knows?

That was really sad...after all these years and everything A'Chou did, this lady never treated her as her own..even once.. A terrible greedy person she is
If I didn't already know the ML is the otp of FL or the designated partner for FL...How would I see this? A completely Unhealthy relationship... Minjae has rejected Yu Jin three times. Three times. And now that she's made it clear she's still available to him, he agrees to be with her, but the commitment itself feels half-hearted.he agrees to be with her because he'll probably never get a chance again. There's a reluctance here that goes beyond someone who's simply gaurded. And agreeing to be together while wanting to keep it a secret, without really expressing what he feels for her, leaves Yu Jin in a rather uncomfortable position. And Yu Jin's side of it is interesting, too. She's just been betrayed by someone she trusted, she's struggling to find her footing academically , and she's at a stage in life where she's still figuring herself out. She is in a vulnerable phase of her own life. I can't help wondering whether her persistence with Minjae is partly about him and partly about everything else that's going wrong in her life. Is she genuinely choosing him, or is she holding on to the one thing she thinks she can still make work? But this is only till ep6, an unhealthy beginning doesn't necessarily mean an unhealthy relationship eventually I hope the further episodes actually show the relation evolve into something healthy with mutual participation and putting in the effort, rather than Yu Jin being the one doing all the heavy lifting.
The drama was an entertaining watch..but for me the plots holes and devices are impossible to overlook...a lot of the story wouldn't proceed if they hadn't manufactured incompetencies which no longer work in the modern times

He doesn't appear wholeheartedly into the dynamic yet..like FL hs to semi guilt trip him till he actually opens up... If FL stops this aggressive pursuit of him..look like the whole dynamic will collapse
It looks more like FL forcing herself onto ML.. And before people start saying role reversal and FL chasing ML...would it be acceptable if ML was the one in place of FL?? It wouldn't be acceptable to me...
Lu Hui redeemed herself but DL remained the scumbag as ever.. Not happy that only last few episodes was for Lu Hui's past...they could have cut out many things in previous episodes and added more of LHs backstory... So basically no one really wins Jiali in the end...YM lost Jiali, DL and LH also lost Jiali..and worst of all Harry suffered the most.. And the villians getting their punishment is too anticlimactic..almost like they just disappeared..the impact wasn't as good as the build up.. Ending appears rushed like most of cdramas And the reveal of Chestnut as Dr.Kang's daughter? Seriously? That was the reveal?

That I got to know..there was whole comments on baby switch and today's episode though cryptic hinted at it... The way it is unfolding is becoming too repetitive...JD wants to switch and kill AC...A'Chou is threatened, harmed, A'Chou threatens back, escapes, switch never happens
How is no one scared of Jundai? She is ready to kill at a moment's notice...manipulates the situation...how sure are they she won't kill the grandmothers who went against her? How foolish is that Hou guy who left the maid with Jundai? And seeing how quick people are in getting rid of threats..how was the maid still alive?
It's gone on long enough...everyone except the emperor knows she is not Wei Rao who was supposed to marry Lu..and they are constantly threatening to kill her and her family...is this how the whole series will be? Its entertaining no doubt, but getting repetitive....I am kinda getting tired
Just my POV on why many things are explainable and doesn't necessarily require suspension of disbelief: AChou has had to do plenty of odd jobs from childhood to survive...her neighbor taught her a lot..she has constantly learnt from many people...also there is a scene showing Bitao teaching her ettiquettes...she is being continuously taught the things she doesn't know...despite lack of formal education her family and her are intelligent and smart..such people actually are street smart and they adapt and survive... Infact there are scenes which shows her lacking as well: she didn't know about the gifts and was about to be cheated by the lady who got killed...the etiquettes she knows is bowing and heirarchy (which is common in all sections of society and she'll known it better having worked as servant as well)...the time when she went to gold shop and started picking everything was completely inelegant and not how a nobel lady who has been surrounded by gold behaves..also her monologue when she tore the land deeds clearly shows she is not someone from nobel backgrounds And being a woman of unprivileged background she would know the law around what happens to people who abduct women..she has to know that to survive, and chances are she has seen people punished for it A lot of this is explainable actually
