YJX is such a narcissistic ass and a fool. On what basis did he assume a lady who betrayed her friend to marry him is not interested in materialistic possessions? What special quality did he have that could impress someone to marry him in the 1st place...it was obvious everyone was interested in Yu family and not him...and now he realised true colours of Fan Fake he wants to get back into good books with his mother and also get back FTY to stroke his own ego...the character is really worse than a beast 🤮🤮

I feel the dubbed voice is a little mature to the actual visuals which is making it seem like that...the dialogues and expressions seem fine to me

FTY's confidence comes for being trained by her Grandmother...she has been trained about the scheming ways of ladies and how to navigate situations using her wits..so far whatever has been shown is coherent and understandable for character in drama...

True...I saw the 1st few episodes more as setting the premise..though she backstabbed FTY in the whole adultery accusations , though morally wrong, I could see she had her intentions of wanting her potential to shine, also the FL's fall from grace as pretty much everything was handed to her by her family, not undeserved or wrong, more like nepotism and favouritism...it is now that each have independent lives to live, their choices will decide their trajectory

I understand where she is coming from...she was always made to feel inferior...thats why i said "now she has the guy's cooperation" she needs to stop competing with FTY..I haven't read the novel and I am only basing my opinion from what drama has shown till now

So far it is FL who is intelligent, making her decisions and is resourceful...this is till ep8...both have their strengths and weaknesses

Plus this is a historical drama and as she said she needs a man's help for carrying out her plans...hopefully we'll see her wishes of being independent fulfilled soon as seen from episode preview

Actually if Yake stops competing with FTY now she has the guy's co-operation she can have a peaceful life...her greed, jealousy and insecurity because of which she is scheming and trying to become FTY's equal will be her downfall

Fan Ya Ke had something unique with her which she could have easily gifted and impressed Madam Yan, but she sold it and bought something expensive yet common...this was also the difference being shown by FTY to ZL on how the wealthy behave

I felt this was orchestered by Chancellor Gu..kill the lady of Tiger Roar Gang and make the guy suspect MTH, just like he sent people to attack MTH and blamed it on the Tiger Roar Gang...make them fight against each other
