@unbeliebubble true..many scenes in the drama did not respect physical boundaries of the characters played by Luo Yunxi.. I didnt like what Sang Jui did to MIng Ye either..these acts should be consensual

ya right...I LOVE this c-drama and there are some plot holes in the last arc..so many layers getting uncovered with each re-watch and honestly no filler episodes either..wish they had handled the last arc a little better

Sang Jui was a clam demon born with divine essence so she was focused on immortal cultivation, so when she gave her Divine Essence she was accumulating negative energy as per her demon clan status..and after leaving Ming Ye she starts Demon Cultivation with her brother in the bamboo forest...so she goes back to being a Clam Demon by birth (as she is not born a mortal)
TTJ was in nether river and the Divine Essence kept healing him from the Rou River burns..so he can do Immortal Cultivation and Divine Essence should have helped him right and not the crossbow?
LiSuSu (as Ye Xiwu) cultivated a NEW Divine Essence with help of WOJade in the mortal arc(during her improsenment in Chilly Chamber) that's why the Lightening punishment and she used that to exchange with the Devil Bone..and once she returns as LiSuSu her original Divine essence would be with her..

Can someone help me understand the last arc please..
As Li Susu has replaced TTJ's devil bone with Divine essence forged using the WOJade, TTJ is now immortal or can cultivate to be an immortal..and Li Susu now has both devil bone and divine essence. Then why the need for TTJ to be revived out of the nether river with the devil crossbow..he has divine essence he is immortal hence cannot die in nether river...why is he still considered devil fetus when he doesnt have evil bone and why is he considered mortal when he has divine essence?
Wouldnt it make a better sense if they reunite and now both TTJ and LSS (both have divine essence now) figure out a way to destroy the Evil bone?
