I am a pure-vegetarian myself and did not like this scene...i re-watched it to check if there was torture and abuse..there is none...because there is no way they'd have allowed them to use real arrows while filming and there is no way the actors are such good shots that they'll hunt them down...now did they kill and consume non-veg on sets?..maybe as no one can impose dietary preferences on others..
If this comment had come from someone else it would be credible, but I've seen your other posts trying to bring down the drama..

I would like to point out this is plot heavy drama with less romance..but their relationship and understanding is very satisfying...
Also they didn't break up intentionally..they got separated during the ambush in the desert and it had seemed like he wanted to kill them...he didn't clarify the misunderstanding as he is dying and prioritizes his Revenge mission...
Also him staying with her as said in the description on MDL "Yan Zi Jing, once intent on shouldering his shame and revenge alone, eventually finds peace and braves life's storms with her"...it's his growth as well..
And honestly for me maybe there is no usual romantic scenes per se..but the relation with their conversation, their understanding of each other is deep and is beautiful and romantic in its own way..

That friend was a reminder that some people will try to keep us in toxic situations and we probably won't even realise we are with snakes..

I am enjoying her realistic portrayal and her maturity in the drama..and for her innocent charm I watch the BTS..the crew having fun while filming is as much fun to watch too

My opinion is that the writing is best so far...no filler scenes/cliche scenes...it feels like something that would happen exactly in the same way in real life too...they showed how ZSY was found..he was followed back when he went to buy buns (plus he sold his ring which could be the reason he was recognised and followed)...
Also the SMZ kidnapping is from the previews...that will be revealed in the full episodes and the episodes to come...
Patience friends...what's the point if everything is revealed and their is no suspense...I hope they wrap it up all together well like they've been doing till now

ZSY is still alive as he is the only remaining person who knows what happened with the Yan family tribute case and the link between Bandits and Prince Ying...killing him.off would lose the linking chain of the plot...his time will come

Could be because he had clear shot of ZW bust CSJ was blocked by ZW, also the Zhang family head is against CSJ, they'll kill her off sometime later easily..plus if the black dragon bandits need to continue their looting and illegal activities they need to ppl in younger generation, they've lost Wuling, the Pearl Farm, most of Zhang family...maybe keeping her to see if she'll join forces with them

Even I thought about it...they may have been people who were trying to prove themselves to their parents and wanting to belong...but their temparament was not kind either...CSJ looked down upon DW because she was a pearl diver, she wasnt the kind/compassionate type...ZW was also arrogant..
They had multiple opportunities for redemption..they could ve reported the Zhang family head, left Yangzhou and started fresh...their escape was too late and for selfish reasons, and ZW also stole funds and left..

Less but intense and appropriate for the plot

90% of the story has been about the FL's story..the remaining 10%has been supportive to that story..in fact the ML's revenge plan has been integrated into the FL journey and growth throughout...This is a BIG Female Lead..
