I'm actually rather enjoying this one! I mean, it's definitely no masterpiece NIF or anything, but I'm quite entertained so far. Helps that LHY looks super gorgeous in white robes while being all snarky I think 😂

SPOILERS for ep 39:
- GNT does have a prob with his left eye, needs surgery - CX gets to be main pilot on maiden flight of D191 - GNT tries to protect CX from knowing he is unwell, but with SS help, she figures it out. They talk. He says she is his pride, and that he is happy she can fulfil his dream for him. Tender hug - He has surgery, she flies. Cameo from CX Mum and Dad who are on the flight, and Aunty Qin. Post surgery, NZ drives GNT to a spot so he can see CX's plane in distance... happy manly tear from GNT - 3 month recovery period - GNT seems fine!!! - Gentle flirting...kiss on the cheek, Polly the parrot in GNT care, GNT asks CX when she will live with him, CX says depends on his performance and rushes off to fly, but GNT gets a call saying that there are deliveries to his place (of CX's stuff) so it's a yes! - Another flight, another day. Cameos from Jiang, and also YH is a lead stewardess and is clearly a couple with that nice guy from ground department. Cameo from Cpt Xie as a teacher. - Ends with GNT back at his work desk, looking out at the window to the blue skies, gentle smile on face, looking mighty fine🤣🥰😍
........ 9 out of 10 for this drama from me - mostly due to the commitment to the piloting stuff (clearly the actors took the time to train so looked really convincing in my view) AND because of the outstanding chemistry between Wang Kai as GNT and Tan Song Yun as CX. Slow burn but we got there in the end! And ep 38 (ultimate sugar hit) was well worth the wait 🤣😍
🤣🤣🤣 Did you notice a small detail in rewatch? CX responds to GNT on both channels of communication. The thank you for the flowers was via the tenant-landlord email chain, the so happy you are safe was via wei-chat🤣❤️ And then of course the glorious thank goodness they didnt miss each other on the way to each other moment, which needs no explanations ❤️
