I don't think Jiang is going the equal responsibility track (after all he is the lead pilot). Rather, he is trying to get CX to be selective with her account of what occurred (as in, let's just not mention that we could have medical stop over at Saigon - he thinks that will complicate things)
CX response to this as at ep 30 is why lie by omission when Jiang's choice to proceed to Singapore was a possible choice that did not break with protocol? (Tho she and GNT would have chosen differently, Jiang's choice is also technically a doable option).

BUT Jiang is being super dodgy - he is asking her to NOT mention that they could have had a stop at Saigon for medical emergency purposes. Being selective with the facts etc. As others have pointed out, that seems like it won't work for obvious reasons (black box, other international operator etc - must be heaps of records as to what happened surely).

I even went back to watch the scene where he basically tells GNT he will regret everything + let her have space to have other possibilities if you are not going to man * up etc and noticed a new detail I didn't see before - his shifu was so made he took away GNT's water cup (as in, get out of my sight, no drink for you boy, even if it is just water) š¤£

I totally love your comment! 100% agree. She is the best - did it in such a clear but not hurtful way as soon as she realised and (hopefully) in time for NZ to not get too hurt. No mixed messages from our CX!
