7.9 now. I don't know why. I have watched four episodes and they deserve higher rating.

You can try The Legend of Shen Li. It had another great, and very in love couple.

I agree with you about Zhang Wanyi in this show, but his acting was great in Are you the one? And some scenes I have seen from Lost you Forever are amazing too.

Some dramas in the list don't follow the rules. For example Just between lovers, Undercover High School or Summer Strike.

I'm only watching this Chinese drama. Like you, I prefer to watch one at a time :)
And binge-watching already finished dramas is the best option for me, but this time I'm live watching on Viki and trying not to read/see spoilers.

I have read in several sites that Arthur Chen dubbed himself this time. I have checked this interview (FF some minutes. I don't know why the beginning has no sound) and it seems the same voice:

I am watching it on Viki. Today episodes are 14 and 15. I wish I could binge-watch it legally! It's very hooking.

Censorship is a fact in Chinese shows. Some of them are even clear propaganda. But in spite of that, there are gems in their audiovisual production.
And lots of series have humor too. In fact I found some humor in The Bond. But it's quite subtle.

As a Christian myself I can't agree with some of your opinions but as I recommended this drama to you, because it's in my top, I hope you watch it until the end. I actually can see the luminous side of this drama, not only the darkness.

I don't like procedurals (case of the day/episode) either so it was interesting that The Imperial Coroner was about solving mysteries which were all related to each other or had something to do with the same complot.

About WDBTD, I'm looking forward to watching more episodes. Today Viki Spain adds the fourth and the fifth. This seems a drama I'd binge-watch in a few days if I could.

When I dropped TLOFG I started The Imperial Coroner (2021) and I have already finished it. It is a low budget drama but it has a very good script. It is really interesting.

Now I have watched the first three episodes of When destiny brings the Demon and it's being fun :)
