I could also be that he saw his younger self in Yizhi and investigated his background and confirmed that he is his son. Recal this initial scene where HRH was in the backroom of the casino behind a wind screen and Yizhi came and impressed him cause you could see his shadow move. Then subsequently he saw Yizhi again in the pawn shop and by then he already knew who Yizhi was and deliberately didn't interfere when the staff got bullied by the previous manager cause he wanted to test Yizhi's ability.

There have been some speculations on Weibo that he is indeed Yizhi's father. He left Yizhi's mom to marry Lanjie so that he can have the back up of her father to build up his business. He wasnt upset about Lanjie not being able to conceive cause he already has a son. And Yizhi's mom had a mental breakdown because of her husband deserting her for another woman.

This is the most fast pace drama I ever watch, it make me confuse sometime. I think it's too fast, and kinda surprise…
Yes, it's so fast paced that some transitions seem too abrupt. Still an enjoyable watch regardless.

It's about a guy who killed his sister's rapist and received a long prison sentence for it. He has a good friend (who's a police officer) who supported him throughout the trial and imprisonment. When he was released from prison he was looking forward to meeting his friend again but his friend was unexpectedly killed. So after his release he went on a quest to find the person who killed his friend.
