They got married!

Personally, I think Lizi deserved it. It would have been too easy if Yizhi accepted her again then. He was fully dedicated to her when they were married. And was hurt when she manipulated, did the abortion and asked for the divorce. He has his own wellbeing and the bank to take care of. He has no energy anymore to deal with Lizi's erratic behaviour. But I think they will get together in the future. Lizi has to go thru some more growth first and Yizhi needs more time to heal.

Maybe he was holding something in that portrait that did not pass censorship cause if its just a portrait of the father in law then there is no reason to blur it since he is introduced in the show as a warlord

Yes, I also thought it is due to censorship but thought it was odd to censor a portrait.

Do you notice that the big painting in Huang Ru Hong's house is blurred? Any idea why?

Fully agree. Their story is quite endearing compared to the complex relations between the MLs.

I believe he got the divorce papers because he wanted to set Li Zi free cause he thought Li Zi would accept the architect's love confession. Upon hearing the architect mention that Li Zi rejected him and told him that she is married and that he knows Li Zi's father, he realises that Li Zi is hanging out with the architect because she wants to investigate her father's dad (not because she is romantically interested in the architect). The divorce papers are not signed yet so legally not enforced.

I'm enjoying it so far. It's fast paced and divides its time nicely among the different couples. The only issue I have is that the FL is depicted as a super woman. She is literally resolving any problem with ease (too easy).

I'm also watching cause of ZYC but disappointed by the production quality. The directing, editing and dubbing is a bit odd/off. And the FL's acting is stiff. Hope it will get better as it progresses. The premise is interesting and I like that ZYC takes on different roles. It's a shame that he is not given the opportunity to act as ML in higher budgeted crime/action dramas.

Yep agree with you. It's realistic for YT to be apprehensive. Dating a celebrity is not easy. Your whole life and your family's will be scrutinized by the public, going out for a date is going to be a logistic nightmare and people will definitely compare his earning power with QQ's and critisise him for it. It takes a strong and balanced person to date a celebrity and he needs time to sort out his self esteem before he dates her.

Yes, think in general doctors are highly respected all over the world. What the aunt is referring to is probably her background that she comes from an ordinary middle income family and not from some powerful high network and nett worth family that can help the ML in his business ventures.

Yes, the aunt is indeed trying to break them up but the good thing is that she hasn't been successful so far. The ML doesn't really listen to her and he is also not interested in the rich girl.

That's not his ex. It's a rich girl which his aunt (not his mother) is trying to match make him with. The aunt thinks the FL is too low social status for the ML and she is trying to match make the rich girl with him to form a business alliance with the rich girls family.
