What happens to the tree then?!Does it too end up with just the trunk?
—your perspective is great! Haha
“ If the boy had been wise, the tree would have produced fruit for him for the rest of his life.” —good way to look at it lollll I felt so bad for the tree.
“ There is a question of necessity that does not exist in the Giving Tree tale.0
—it’s not a necessity.
The stories are different but the sacrificial love is the same from the mother to the tree haha
It's alright to discuss characters in shows and even disagree with their portrayals. That's what good dramas and…
“They are tearing down the FL as though they're her stepsisters. They're rating it badly so that lesser people will watch the drama. It's incredulous how malicious and evil some of these commenters are. And they dare comment about morality? Is your conscience even clear?”
—it’s only a fictional character in a fictional drama, no need to attack real human beings.
hmmm if his girlfriend was nice to him I would definitely think like you. But honestly, she's just stringing him…
I semi-agree with you. Criticism should be allocated to both the ML and FL. ML should clearly be setting boundaries and making things clear to leave him alone instead of being an awkward, doormat turtle.
Seriously, people in this comment section willingly drop their morals to defend the actions of characters. Nothing…
“ oh okay, i'm sorry if I was being presumptuous. I don't know the entire story, so I can't really say anything here. All I know is that you do have the right to choose whether you want to respond to him/her or not. :)”
—it’s no big deal. All humans make mistakes. It’s admirable that you are willing to defend other people such as stage 3 although you don’t know the entire story. It shows that you are willing to stand up for other people who are bullied. We need more people with your kind of spirit.
I don't know if you are still open to discussion, but if you are I kind of wanted clarification on what you are…
Thank you! I’m glad we are on the same page but even if we are not that’s okay too, because people are allowed to have different perspectives even if we think they are wrong.

“ Well I do actually believe @Stagelll's comment is useful it illustrating moral relativism. There are very few actions that are considered universally immoral.” —I think stage 3 comments could be considered enlightening, I agree, I would normally appreciate these kind of comments if I didn’t know that stage 3, human encounter, and etc were the same person. They’re not actually here to have a stimulating conversation but they like to play devil advocate and be the contrarian and enjoys when people get pulled into these kind of discussions and especially pleased when they see people triggered or people stumped for words, they find it entertaining. I see them do it recently in other comment sections with other accounts they made, once you talk with them long enough, their similarities in writing styles and thought process gradually leaks. I’m not asking you to believe me but others have confirmed for me. Even if you don’t understand, I hope you at least see why I choose not to bother with the person by responding to the points he brought up. I wouldn’t be surprised if he’s laughing at my comments privately as we speak.
“ But that may not be the case in those cultures. So it makes sense that we could say some people find the actions depicted in the show as acceptable or not so acceptable” —I don’t disagree with this statement. The world is a vast place.
“ But because I have read it was malicious in intent I can understand why you would say it is not appropriate. I have more problems with this (the intent) with the action.” —yes, the intent to is problematic.
—truthfully he’s here to just to try to win an argument, I don’t even know what he really believes in.
—believe it or not, there was another user in this comment section who had a long debate with me and at the end, he clearly admitted that he wanted to play devil advocate because he finds it amusing to try to defend what’s almost impossible to defend and that his parents are lawyers. —that user did it in other places as well. —I’m not confirming that these side accounts are his but his hobby is the same as these accounts.
i don't see why ratings are so important to international audience when we don't even contribute to them
I agree, I feel so drowsy whenever people bring up ratings in their conversations lol
I think a good reason people bring it up it’s because they want to feel validated that they are watching a good show or perhaps bragging rights if they’re a huge fan of one of the cast members hahaha

I know she has ASPD, it doesn’t excuse her actions although I am more understanding of it.
The tree gave the boy it loved all it had (apples, branches, trunk), just like the mother who gave up her body for her child :(
The wind is referenced from I miss you drama.
I love the FL character, a lot! But it doesn’t mean I should support all of her behaviors and questionable actions.

As time goes by words and slang words can be changed and altered and updated over time. It’s not uncommon.
It’s disappointing people are sleeping on this drama, that’s why we can’t get good things.
