FL speech on honesty doesn’t sit right with me, especially since she is going after a man who is already in a relationship, and her piggy-back riding him was so inappropriate as a request. I felt really bad for his girlfriend for witnessing that scene. It’s not innocent.

Sorry jcw and kyj, I tried to hold on but there’s no real substance to the show, I can’t continue to turn off my brain and my morals as I watch this. This is not a relationship I would support in real life, why should I support in drama?

—also barely anything happens on the show(if it was a slice of life or melodrama, I would accept it more) it’s more of like a bunch of random scenes and comedy sketches taped together. There are plenty of good comedy dramas that can be funny, moving, and have a good story like Chief Kim, Kkondae Intern, mystic pop-up bar, and etc —-this show isn’t it :(

—I recommend you re-read the concluding paragraphs of the recap. It explains perfectly why the upcoming relationship of the leads is not okay. It doesn’t matter if the girlfriend is a good one or not. What FL is doing is worst than his girlfriend. She’s intentionally alluring someone who is in a relationship. If she waited for them to break up naturally instead of involving herself into the equation, then that would be an acceptable story.

—I’m watching it with subs right now, yes it’s sad that his girlfriend is ashamed of his status and it is probably one of the conflicts that will lead them to break-up, however, I can’t deny the fact the FL will play a huge impact in the break-up. She’s tempting him and contributing to an emotional affair.

At least Monarch had other leads in the show besides the main couple lol I’m pushing through because of the actors, but I will most likely drop it after I checked out tomorrow episode. The premise is making me too uncomfortable

Like I said, I’m still watching because of the actors but the problematic things are constantly bothering me and making it challenging for me to enjoy this show. I wish I can memory wipe my mind, so that I can rewatch mystic pop-up bar lol
