Gosh the subtitles are taking a long time to load up on the site that I normally watch it in. So I was impatient and watched it raw due to my love for the leads lol And I looked up for a recap and this recap explained the problems I had with episode 3 :( I think my favorite scene was the dance dream scene in the beginning but overall it was leaning towards not so good episode.
“ Yeonjoo’s at the meeting and the man blatantly makes fun of her, asking if she knows of the part-timer and how pretty she is. He says Yeonjoo shouldn’t just be sitting her, she could be in real trouble, and he’s just ‘looking out for her’. (EW. I hate that he’s right and Saetbyul really is out to steal Yeonjoo’s man though.). ” —going after someone who is in a relationship... I would not want someone to do that to me...
“ He asks if she can beat her record of 188 customers a night and make it 200. She readily agrees and SNIFFS HIM. WHAT.” —that is kind of a creepy action but not too bad but still lol
“ He tries to run away but Geumbi comes after him and starts hitting him again calling him ‘ugly. (Okay, so you’re hitting him just because you think he’s ugly. In that case, I should be beating the crap out of you, girl, you look like an old fish. I hate this so much. Beating up someone because of how they look is NOT comedy. Idgaf if they’re going to try and force these two to fall in love. If you reversed the gender roles here, we’d all way the guy to go to JAIL. UGH I’m so pissed)” —THis!
“ Saetbyul laughs that he really did have a disappointing day (I’m just disappointed by how happy she is that his life is miserable right now)” —she’s happy so that she can swoop in...
“ The issue with this set-up is that, regardless of how the show tries to play it, Saetbyul speeds up the end of their relationship. And that makes her a factor in its demise. It would have ended, but perhaps not as badly, or painfully, or in a manner that stinks of emotional cheating, without her. It’s a very hard-to-swallow premise, and I’m not sure the show can add any nuance to it.” —once again it’s incredibly difficult to support a relationship that was formed through an unethical means ( ཀ ʖ̯ ཀ)
“ Saetbyul is literally out to break up a relationship and beat up anyone who tries to reveal her true character, but she seems to think she’s some sort of avenging angel. Daehyun’s parents are mess. Eunbyul’s a disaster. Daehyun’s the only decent character and even then he’s really passive and not honest in the slightest.”
—I’m considering dropping this show. Even if there isn’t a strong plot, as long as there are like-able characters you can still pedal through...but there’s only one character I like, and it’s ML. My actors talents are wasted. I’m now thinking fiery priest director was only successful as he is due to the writer in his last project.

I did hear the behind the scene drama was a mess for cheese trap hahaha

Mdl needs to reform their review section by blocking reviews until midway in airing, all the early reviews are biased in different spectrums and not credible.
Final episode was solid for the most part! It somehow became a melodramatic slice of life drama on ep 12 but on the upside, it delivered an emotional punch to the heart ❤️
I had an idea for a great ending but it didn’t play out, but it was still a beautiful ending :)
The themes of family & relationships was the heart of the show and continued to do so all 12 episodes.
Thank you MPB and the team that made it possible for the tears, the smiles, the laughters, and the thrills for the past six weeks. I hope the mystic pop-up bar can become a franchise and spread world-wide, we all need a little help in resolving our personal grudges and fulfilling our wishes haha
this looks kind of fun but im not sure? is this mostly business/work related or does it have added flavor ??
It’s mostly work-related but with flair, so well done that it’s not boring.
The first episode is super heavy. But once you get pass that, it gets fun and becomes very meaningful. Warning, there will be many frustrating moments, but they shall be overcome.
You will grow to love most of the characters and there are genuine twists in the latter half that no one saw it coming. You have to be a psychic to predict those twists, and they are great :)
You will cry, get angry, laugh with madness, and be encouraged and inspired as you watch each episode! I love it! I think it’s worth a watch!
