It’s a different story here haha I could actually tolerate her in kill me heal me haha She was very natural in melodrama Secret. —generally romantic comedies she’s over the top haha
I’m on the same boat, it’s becoming a chore watching eternal monarch.
I completely agree but I also believe actors has their share of the blame as well although it’s a smaller part. Good chemistry depends mostly on the actors not the script. I’m also a lee min Ho fan as well and had to defend him using his resume to defend his acting in a different site. I would generally promote city hunter and legend of the blue sea to showcase his abilities to do different things. But I did agree that his acting wasn’t the greatest here, he wasn’t able to transcend the horrible script.
—it’s really sad this drama has such rich resources but was squandered.
Ah what a great start! Mystic Pop-Up Bar and Kkondae intern both has a promising start! I’m feeling the pathos heavily for male lead! The old boss is a MAJOR JERK! First half of episode 1 gave you the feels and second half gave me the laughters! It’s looking to be a fun slice of life with a side of revenge! I love it! It’s definitely not a boring office drama. The male lead is such a nice, sympathetic male lead, he’s fighting to make an imprint in this world. Good guys doesn’t necessarily finish last! I’m here for this! I don’t care if romance never gets introduced because it’s good enough on its own the way it’s already set-up.
First episode amazing! The first 1/4 of the drama gave hotel Del Luba vibes! The music is great! The ending was beautiful! I can’t wait for tomorrow :)
debating between watching this or extracurricular while waiting for all the kdramas coming on netflix in june…
I recommend someday or one day! —it also has time travel, doppelgänger, parallel world! It’s executed better and it also has transmigration as a bonus!
—eternal king, it’s mixed bag/reviews for me and it can be very frustrating while watching it unless you’re okay with undeveloped, instant romances and product placements disrupting some scenes and the main characters are being underdeveloped. The positive side is the story and its mystery components makes me look forward to future episodes
OK...upfront honesty, had to do a whole lotta skipping because it became annoying and bothersome to watch an irrelevant…
Maybe if you would had skipped less, you would had seen how the female lead character was pivotal to the drama. And the drama is called tales of ‘nokdu,’ nokdu is the main character. Anyways she helps influence the male lead growth and she saved his life several times. Her arc was to let go and forgive, she could had completed her personal mission but she instead let go of the opportunity to save the male lead instead. —and it was based on real history that the king got dethroned and replaced by the prince.
The over-the-top editing style is definitely intentional though, although I can understand it not being to some…
Awesome!
I don’t know if you’re watching eternal monarch but if you like parallel worlds, time travel, and doppelgängers; a user on the mdl recommended me ‘Someday or One Day.’ —I watched the first two episodes and I was mind blown at how much I loved it, it has everything I wish Eternal Monarch was. Check it out if interested. https://kisskh.at/39715-some-day-or-one-day
I really liked the first episode. It was a bit over the top, but it was nice to see a Badass Female character.…
:( Those shows are concrete proof that you can produce a quality show without including heavy themes of romance. I watched Chief Kim twice, the male lead always crack me up when he goes against the corrupted people in the company. I love that scene when he was stubborn and was chilling in the the ‘time-out’ section of the company.
