I think this is the best strategy, to air without promotion. Because of the identity of the leads it makes a lot of people restless to see the positive prospects of the drama therefore the endless criticisms and need for reviewing. We all know we want to see it, no need for further promotion.
I agree! I was considering watching The Long Ballad next, but I've heard that the romance isn't that good.
If you're into kdramas try The Legend (2008) it's the only thing remotely similar to me, it's a bit old but you'll survive. Zhu Xu Dan and her love interest gives me the most hope romance wise. I'm not feeling anything between GJ and YM yet maybe it's deliberate. I hope there are good fight scenes too.
The only way everyone is going to enjoy this drama is if we stop hanging around here. It will air when it will air and it's going to be awesome. all you have to do is go watch something else. To be honest the comments here are reducing my interest more than the wait itself.
