tbh i hope he doesnt become main lead, because I truly enjoy seeing him in these variety of roles. I know cent cares way too much about 1st billing etc but sometimes the better and more fun roles are as 2/3/4/5 male leads. oh there'll be another one coming soon on wetv, it's called Generation to Generation and I've read the book too, it's really good , just depends if they adapted it well for drama (basically about the heroine from the previous generation, the aunt of FL , an ancient legendary figure to the current layout of the 8 sects and Demonic sects and villain /grey ML.

i read the earlier part of the novel and forgot some bits, didn't finish cos i did get tired of him always easily killing ppl, as someone that watched a bunch of xianxia /xuanhuan this year. the story is really refreshing and enjoyable,it keeps you hooked to finding out what ppl's agenda is

ah gotcha haha for Dominator's ML , i thought he was ok , he was basically and arrogrant know it all old monster whose soul went into a noob body , I liked the story and ended up reading the book and got to about ch 2300++ but i enjoyed the world building and it really shows of cultivation world very well. anyways i edited my comment and added other titles.

yea I didnt read this one, kinda scared off by big chapter numbers >.< I read the other one Martial God until 2.3k/6k chapters and then I took a break , it also has a running donghua and a low budget drama .Nowadays I read beast taming novels. Wonder if they will do more seasons of this story later since it only covers a certain arc in this one.

im at ep 15, and i read a lot of xuanhuan so this drama is totally my jam
i love how the director chose to film on location on a real mountainside, and it really shows the breadth of space that sects have. Instead of those cramped sect buildings on sets. Really gives the disciple the feeling of non distraction to cultivation. But man do I hate how everyone that was ever nice or kind to Han Li, dies. why can't good people live long :( and can at least the other females be strong enough on their own instead of needing men to bail their butts out , haish

i got to ep 30, but yes the first part is maybe a lil boring and repetitive but after ep12 and when they get to mortal arc the story gets better because the FL has different motivations

having read both novels and getting to see the drama makes one appreciate good script writing, both dramas slay in their drama adaptations. Sure it didnt follow exactly but I still enjoy the changes in the drama for POB, drama just has a life of it's own. I enjoy the "mind games" between the husband and wife which wasn't in the book at all.
