the novella, only 5 chapters - is basically like a thought analysis on the effect of one child policy. Shen Hao Chen was also an accident child (born to SHM parent's) but cos he's so far apart from SHM , he's the spare child while older brother is the heir. So while he has everything, his parents are older and just busy with their own active lives while he is raised by nanny , so he's lonely.
The movie with Zhao Li Ying and Xin Zhi Lei would be on this heavy soul searching genre

Xu Yan's parents tried aborting her at late term, the abortion meds cause problems to her later on which made her infertile. She never grew up with her family because her parents just see her as the cause of their downward spiral. The one -c hild policy , where her father lost his govt job cos of having 2nd child. So the family heavily resented her .

The darling sister didnt run away from a marriage but she was pregnant when she came to Xu Yan . She knows Xu Yan has infertility and yet she was with SHM who seems to want a big family etc so she was questioning Xu Yan.
Anyways she did go back home and give birth but she committed suicide and left her baby to Xu Yan.
Shen Hao Ming cheated on Xy with Fang Lei and went back with FL cos they suited each other more bla blah . The time she wanted to confess her background was the time he broke up with her , so in the end she was all alone.
So the end of the story is Xu Yan starting a new life with a baby and she met her neighbour who was depressed also and told him to adopt a new dog (cos he just buried his old one) so that it can keep her baby company.

i really want to see his POV and I wonder if we'll get a flashback of it when everything comes to a boiling point when she finds out he's the spider spinning the web around her and watching her catch flies for her lies lol

but each time it's about to unravel, he comes and bails her out at the right moment. He's fully aware of her lies, he's cultivating his own human agave.

slowly and slowly when she steps away from idol productions and also meets more veteran actors in other productions she can also learn from them , now we already see her with Wen Zhen Rong , Xue Jue Ning , Zeng Li

rubs hands in glee, now married, which was quick, then divorce in a while....and we can see this poor dog grovelling for a long time muahahahaha

the script is original script, basically it's a fan fiction from the novel. The novel's focus was never about romance and was tragic, the tragedy wasnt from love line either.

hmmm in A Moment But Forever there is FL going into ML's Dantian (inner world too) Different dramas/ books will call it different things but I think this drama is the first one where you had "cultivation partner" hence them having a soul bond, I think also the first xianxia where they were officially together together like a married couple instead of the "fighting against odds just to be together trope" or "fl falling first and then him falling later and then losing and finding each other before being actually finally together officially"
The intimacy from being a cultivation partner really goes beyond just normal physical coupling cos it's your soul laid bare to the other so only if you dont have secrets to hide can you open it to others. But she was clueless about this when she went in and out of his and vice versa .
