If I am not wrong, he was in love with the chef but he was in denial. That's why he married and had kid and tried to live a happy life. But, he was still friends with the chef and also knew the chef's feelings hadn't changed. If he really had moved on, he wouldn't have let the chef back into his life again. Now, he is separated from his wife and kid and the chef had gone. No one was happy in the end.
I am rewatching this before I head to Love Sea. Laughed at Rain's kidnapped pic once again. And saw the scene on loop where Rain admits he is dating Payu with his friends and our busy Sky is eating his food with a smile. And even after everything, I am still Team PrapaiSky. I would love PrapaiSky forever. They have my whole heart. And every time Sky cries, I feel so sad. But when Prapai cries, I feel so much emotions. I can feel my heart break into million pieces seeing Prapai cry. That phone call scene followed by the diary scene is one of my best scenes of the show. Only Prapai can be angry and hot at the same time. Fort was incredible as Prapai. I had never been intrigued by a character so much. Now that I had rewatched the show, I could analyze more details. Rain always was frank about his life and issues with his friends, to the extent that he would even repeat his narrations. He focused more on his life rather than others. He was quick to judge people and hurt others with his words(referring to his behavior with Som). Not only was he stupid and annoying, but he also whined over small matters. And Sky was a stark contrast compared to him. Sky was much more mature and understanding. He was always helping Rain with his problems and could perceive when his friends are upset or tired. He always kept his issues to himself because he doesn't want to burden or worry anyone. Though he was tired and ill, he still stayed up all night to complete his assignments and took care of the orientation program of the juniors. He desperately needed help with his trauma but he told no one about it and suffered everything all alone. Sometimes, I wondered how Rain and Sky even became friends in the first place.
The story was all good, but the execution and storytelling wasn't appealing. And there were major plotholes too. Like the man who shot arrow at Dongbaek seemed to be Denis, and since Qihong was also in the past...but I don't know what role Denis plays in the romance of the leads. He is one of the super-annoying idols and he has a grudge over the Director and there was no proper explanation. The Director can kick him away but he agrees to the whims and fancies of that spoiled brat.
When I was a kid, this movie used to air on local TV channels dubbed in my own language. At that time, no one had any idea this was a Thai movie. Any East-Asian movie was considered a Chinese movie. It was scary at that time, but today I rewatched it...it wasn't so scary. Remember the movie was released almost a decade and a half ago, so the movie does has bad CGI. In fact, the movie would like it was shot in 90's era. The dialogues are somewhat lame and there are forced-funny scenes. But, I liked the concept and the characters Toh and Ratri. In my language, 'ratri' means night. Anyways, rewatching this brought back old memories. 7/10 from me.
No, I don't get the hate. Actually, this was pretty entertaining. Nonsensical yes but entertaining. I usually check for tags, especially when its a BL or a bromance or a LGBT show, so this wasn't tagged "BL" or "bromance" so I was damn sure there would be no ships to sail. The series did talk about LGBT topics related to the story of the side characters. And one of the actors kissed the other mains...but that was all drunken and awkward kisses...and that was the only BL thingy in the entire series. The show has excessive drinking as the title suggests, but I wasn't much bothered by that as it was a part of the story. The only thing that triggered me was the Korean spoken by the mains. They sounded all cringey while talking Korean...even I can speak better Korean than them just by watching K-Dramas. Only Earth's Korean was somewhat understandable...and he does have some Korean features in his face, according to me. Anyways, don't watch this if you are only for the BL content, because there's none.
This short series was far better than other full-fledged Thai series in terms of story and acting. The episodes were short but there were no story that bored me. The first three episodes weren't that great, but the last three were fun to watch. I loved seeing Ohm as a chill guy for once instead of his usual stone-faced characters...he needs to do more such carefree roles. And the actor Jo who played in episode 3(MaxNat pair), he seemed like a lost sibling of Earth(as in EarthMix pair) to me. Anyways, it's a nice show if you want fillers in between binge-watching to cool off your heads. If I have to pick favorites, then it would be the episodes with YoonLay and Mii2.
I am learning poster making on YouTube, hope I will do great one day. Imo, since the sultrier version, the poster should have included a pic where they are intimate...not very intimate but you get the idea.
For a moment, I had a hard time recognizing both the actors because of their hairstyles. Anyways, now I get why people were saying the special episode of You Are Mine is the best compared to the special episodes of the other three. If I am not wrong they were kissing like 15-20 minutes and that made me blush until my cheeks hurt! But, the side couple were unnecessary in my opinion. It took me at least ten whole minutes to wrap my mind on who they were. Apparently, I remembered the vice president's cousin and it took a while to realize the other one who is his driver(the one who was always tasked to drive Shun Yu home in the drama and ensure he is safe). A cute episode but the rating seems still a bit too high for me. Like what's with the MDL ratings nowadays? There are plenty of underrated dramas and highly over-hyped dramas in MDL now.
Like many others, I don't see the need for this episode. But, I am happy to see my favorite couple Jiang Chi and Bu Xia, showing off their love and arguing with Yi Ping and Ever 9.
Their chemistry is insane, I need the couple to do more BLs together. They have this cute chemistry that I haven't seen in any BL pairs so far, don't waste the potential of this pair.
I keep rewatching this to the point that I can't even keep track of the number of times I had watched this show. Sometimes a silly and simple BL is all you need to get going. This drama is a safe haven for me. And I just realized the random couple kissing in ep 4 is actually the Anti-Reset couple.

A completely unnecessary special episode with a lame misunderstanding between the main couple and a 10-minute NC scene. BTW, if anyone knows the music that plays during the NC scene, do let me know. And did Bomb really ask Janus to meow like an Indian cat or was the subs wrong? Every cat meows the same way!
