I have never seen a kiss before in Korean BL trailer. So I am pretty much excited for this show. I hope this is as good as Love for Love's Sake. 2024 seems to be a great year for us BL fans.
I have tried making a webtoon. It made me realize that it's really hard work. This drama made me remember those…
I also tried being a webtoon artist. I am already an author and I thought of working as an webtoon artist myself rather than hire one. But its so hard work. And you need good software and tools to draw too.
Just now came to know from the comments that Singto is back at GMMTV. Best news ever. I am so happy for him for deciding to return. GMMTV is the best Thai production company and I felt so sorry when he left it. My instincts were right; none of his works took off well after leaving GMMTV. Now, that he's back and there's no way we are getting another GawinKrist series as Gawin is pairing with Joss, I hope we get a KristSingto. Or KristOhm since they had already paired before too. I wish Frank also returns, we can get our FrankDrake back.
I usually don't like spin-offs because many of the spin-offs out there are either boring or completely unnecessary or ruin the reputation of the parent story. But, I absolutely enjoyed watching this spin-off. This show is about what happened in the sidelines that let to the progression of the parent story. The "meow meow" dance was so hilarious(and the sound he makes while stamping his paws) and it was so funny when they entire cast also did that weird dance. And I didn't expect to thrown at a possible BL subplot with Nishi and that doctor. Loved the show.
This started hilarious, but some episodes upset me. Lom looking for the right time to tell the truth to Nuea...I felt his character so irresponsible. I would loved to see more of Ryu and Sun, they were cute. If there's one thing I liked about the show, then it is about how they kept it short. I have seen many dramas where they drag the story to fit the common 12 episode criteria...so I am happy that there was no unwanted and unnecessary scenes. The only thing I felt unnecessary is young Lom meeting young Nuea. There was no mention if both or either of the two remembered their meeting in the past. There is no need to add that scene. Personally, I didn't like Marine and Yiwa running away and marrying, I was expecting her to tell everyone on the wedding day that she likes girls and Lom would also tell his secret. Maybe I couldn't approve their ending because I am a "let's fight back" person rather than a "let's flee" person. Though I liked Lom's plan of acting like a ditched guy and finally getting his mom's approval.
The plot is so similar to You Are So Sweet c-drama that came in 2020. Though I am big fan of Miles Wei, I am going to skip watching this drama because of too much similarity in the plot.
I rarely watch J-dramas but I happen to like this show, though there were multiple second hand embarrassments. I love the actor Satoh Takeru, he has a beautiful smile but I am sad his smile had screentime only on 10th episode.
What's the difference between uncut and cut version? Does the uncut version has more intimate scenes? Is that the reason GMMTV released cut version on YouTube?
I think if I have to compare all the four shows - Stay By My Side, You Are Mine, VIP Only and Anti Reset, Stay By My Side wins in all aspects, at least for me. Don't get me wrong, I didn't find much flaws in any of the other shows, I just didn't connect with those shows much. VIP Only has good plot, cast and all...but I guess it nothing offered new to us viewers.
After watching Strong Girl Namsoon, I have a huge liking for Byeon Woo Seok. But, is there a movie or drama where he is not killed and gets a happy ending? If you know, please recommend to me. And to think of, both main leads of Strong Girl Namsoon are brothers here. LOL. Anyways, I liked the story, the cast, the coloring - it gave the 90's vibes...pure nostalgia. However, I wanted closure for the second leads too(adult versions). And a more clear explanation on how he died(like showing that scene itself instead of Joseph's conversation with Bora). It was such a sweet love....we needed a happy ending.
I watched 20th Century Girl today and he was the blind date guy for Bora. But, I don't know why, for me he looks like the actor who played Shin Woo in Light On Me.
I don't get the hate comments. This is was one fluffy KBL and I loved it. That little beanie Haebom should be protected at all costs. Both Haebom and Taesong were too adorable. And speaking of the mother, she was skeptical about what the society would say if they started dating. She wasn't homophobic, she was just concerned about the hatred they could receive from people. Fun Fact: There's a scene where Haebom's group project is shown on laptop and it was just a course page from India. LOL.
First of all, I really liked the concept of their university. Six different dorms based on certain aspects and the tests for it...it was a new concept. And I also loved how they focused on unicorn start-ups. Being an engineer myself, it did bring back some nostalgia of how I and my peers discussed ideas and solutions to everyday problems and presented business proposals for funds, and the rejections we faced. But then after being rejected, we tried again for the next events. The leads were good, BankEarth had amazing chemistry(Ep. 10 was so hot...FIRE...). But the subtitles were messed up. Oddly, I could understand some of the context even with misleading subtitles. Anyways, it was a good fluffy drama! Right now, I am just battling whether Ohm is bad or good guy. Because he was literally in tears when Ai met him in last episode. I also didn't understand why he did all the bad stuff when he was extremely rich. And what happened to him after those three years? Wish they showed us whether he is still a moron or changed for the better.
Hi @DramaLover143, I have been searching a certain BL series after I watched a clip in YouTube. It looks like its Japanese. The comments under the video said the title is 'The Guest'. But I couldn't find it at all. Could you please help me in identifying that series? Here's the link: https://youtu.be/8BRz0rwkyas?si=-JMChStzYZQHMlcc Thanks in advance, dear!
