I watched 20th Century Girl today and he was the blind date guy for Bora. But, I don't know why, for me he looks like the actor who played Shin Woo in Light On Me.
I don't get the hate comments. This is was one fluffy KBL and I loved it. That little beanie Haebom should be protected at all costs. Both Haebom and Taesong were too adorable. And speaking of the mother, she was skeptical about what the society would say if they started dating. She wasn't homophobic, she was just concerned about the hatred they could receive from people. Fun Fact: There's a scene where Haebom's group project is shown on laptop and it was just a course page from India. LOL.
First of all, I really liked the concept of their university. Six different dorms based on certain aspects and the tests for it...it was a new concept. And I also loved how they focused on unicorn start-ups. Being an engineer myself, it did bring back some nostalgia of how I and my peers discussed ideas and solutions to everyday problems and presented business proposals for funds, and the rejections we faced. But then after being rejected, we tried again for the next events. The leads were good, BankEarth had amazing chemistry(Ep. 10 was so hot...FIRE...). But the subtitles were messed up. Oddly, I could understand some of the context even with misleading subtitles. Anyways, it was a good fluffy drama! Right now, I am just battling whether Ohm is bad or good guy. Because he was literally in tears when Ai met him in last episode. I also didn't understand why he did all the bad stuff when he was extremely rich. And what happened to him after those three years? Wish they showed us whether he is still a moron or changed for the better.
Hi @DramaLover143, I have been searching a certain BL series after I watched a clip in YouTube. It looks like its Japanese. The comments under the video said the title is 'The Guest'. But I couldn't find it at all. Could you please help me in identifying that series? Here's the link: https://youtu.be/8BRz0rwkyas?si=-JMChStzYZQHMlcc Thanks in advance, dear!
I am planning to watch this. But can somebody clarify this is it or there's a special episode or S2 shortly being released? I am person who tends to watch everything related to a series in one go instead of waiting for the related show to get released.
Basically Not Me - Sports Version. Frame and Ryan are both gorgeous and even though they are rookie actors, they did a decent job and had intense chemistry. Loved the side couples SamTan and JackMike too. Would love the BL pairs to do more series, especially FrameRyan's chemistry should not go wasted. The only thing I disliked is Zee being rude to First knowing well that Sprite likes First. He could have been polite without revealing the truth. And my favorite thing about the series is how Zee and Sprite were shown in the same frame multiple times. In Not Me, if you observed clearly, they would focus on only one twin who does the talking while the other one's back is shown. Here, the twins seem like there are two different people. Hats off to the editing team. Don't know if anyone noticed but First always wears yellow clothes and Sprite wears blue mostly. Overall: 7/10.
There are many tropes involved in this drama - 'childhood sweethearts turned lovers turned married couple', 'lost child', 'lost memories'. What makes this so unique is the backdrop of The Golden Embroidery. Really liked all the aspects of the embroidery which were clearly explained throughout the show. All the actors and actresses did really well. Till 25 episode it went all good, but then I was annoyed how the evil female lead could get away with anything. Though after 35 episode, one by one truth was revealed and then it got a lot interesting. I would have liked to see evil female lead suffer more. I think the most pitying character is Lu Si Chen, I want to give him a big hug.
This was a sheer waste of time. I was excited by the trailer, but disappointed by the whole show. It was too predictable. Don't get me wrong, I like slow-burn romance but here the romance was way too slow, which only started in episode 10 and they suddenly showed intense chemistry between the leads. The chemistry was really good but its potential was wasted. I skipped many parts and watched it in 2x. I know how the corporate world works, so I know how the bosses treat. Pat is always whining and annoyed when work piles up or his boss isn't satisfied by his work. What do you expect, princess treatment? He isn't exactly smart either...I honestly don't know why Jeng liked Pat. And Jaab and Jen's storyline was a total mess up. I only liked badass Ae. Would have loved to see more of Chot and Krit's story rather then the main and second leads. Watch this for time pass or use it as a filler before jumping into a new series.
I do not understand how in episode 13 Wei dies and is resurrected again 16 years slater and all these same characters…
Wei Wuxian died but no bones or his remains were found. 16 years later a guy called Mo sacrifices his body to awaken Wei from his dead, so that Wei could take revenge for him on his family. Wei wears the mask to conceal his identity and pretends to be Mo. But, eventually everyone finds out he is Wei once his face is revealed.
I loved it, but the last two episodes felt rushed and okay-ish. I like transmigration concepts if they don't mess…
So, this is all by my interpretation...do let me know what is correct and wrong. 1. Myung Ha was a real person. He had a grandma who had died and he broke up with his gf. He wished to disappear and so he committed suicide by drowning. But he also wished there was someone for him to care and love him. 2. After his death, he meets a senior. The senior is a type of God, who gave him a book to read. In that book, there was a supporting character called Yeo Woon, who reflected Myung Ha's life(depressed, lonely and his grandma also died). Myung Ha expresses that Yeo Woon has a sad life and wishes to change it. 3. The senior designs a game with the book characters and adds Myung Ha as an addition. Myung Ha has to make Yeo Woon happy, but he can't be near Yeo Woon when the fondness is in minus...as it will negatively impact Yeo Woon(blue flame like thing around all stuff that could possibly harm Yeo Woon). 4. Myung Ha receives messages from unknown person now and then. Is it the senior? 5. If the senior was really controlling the game, then why there were system errors? 6. Myung Ha fails to make Yeo Woon happy and disappears. Everyone forgets him but that lady who calls Yeo Woon about the stalker, she remembers Myung Ha. Why and how? 7. Though he failed the mission with his last chance with pen, he wants to make Yeo Woon happy. Is this the reason that Yeo Woon forgot him or Myung Ha's disappearance the reason? 8. Myung Ha meets the senior again and since Yeo Woon changed the mission with the pen, Myung Ha returns to the game. Does that mean Myung Ha who was once alive is now in the virtual game and be there for eternity? 9. That time dilation when Myung Ha returned to Yeo Woon...what was it? Parallel universe? How did they came togther? 10. Does Yeo Woon know that this is all a game(since he changed the mission)? Or was everything was a game and the game's name is 'Love For Love's Sake'(they showed the end and final scene notifications in the game box)? Please someone help me clear these doubts...maybe someone who read the manga and knows the story. Thanks you very much.
I loved it, but the last two episodes felt rushed and okay-ish. I like transmigration concepts if they don't mess up, and here the transmigration was done nicely. The editing and cinematography was the best part of this show. My favorite character was ofc Myung Ha, not because he is handsome and cool(which he is obviously) but I found him relatable. I have low self-esteem and my only wish is to disappear from this world, I don't see a purpose or reason to live. I often wondered that it would be good to be a part of a fictional book or game rather than being alive. That's why I could feel Myung Ha's emotions. I haven't read the manga so I don't know if the show did justice to it. But, 8.9 seems a little hyped for me. I will give it 8. And can somebody give me the link to the manga? Is the manga completed or is there a season 2 for it? And is there an anime version of this show? Also check my spoilers and clarify...that would be helpful.
