Thanks for sharing. As always, thank you for always updating about Cheng Yi. I think we don't thank you enough so I wanted to let you know that I always appreciate the news you share with us. Thank you for your hard work π₯° Happy May Day!
It's sad to see that the fanwar has reached the international fans too and many of them don't even browse weibo…
Yup. If they actually did some research on weibo the full picture would be clearer and and not just some one-sided news. But I won't stoop to the same level as them and refuse to call WHD any names or bash him because it wasn't his doing and he can't control all his fans because there are always bad seeds in every fandom just like in our CY fandom. Plus the haters on weibo could also be paid water armies by their competitors.
I guess we can't help the situation and all we can do is to continue supporting Cheng Yi. He's been through a lot. Sometimes I wish weibo would start banning toxic fan behavior as soon as they're discovered. It's way too unhealthy and I've noticed the similar toxic fan behavior has spread to international fans as well.
Well, both fans should ask the milk tea to apologize to them too π€£ or both fans should apologize to the milk…
Lol your comment, way too funny! Love it. The poor milk tea should apologize to them too but who will apologize the milk tea because it got such a bad name due to this π€£
It's sad to see that the fanwar has reached the international fans too and many of them don't even browse weibo…
Well, it only helped on weibo and the lawsuit does not apply to Twitter users. Most of them don't even know Cheng Yi yet they're already hating the innocent actor and writing bad stuffs about him. I mean, it's a fanwar between the Chinese fans so as an overseas fan if you want to hate why don't you hate the fans instead. I can't imagine myself cursing WHD or calling him names just because of this fanwar because I know it's the fans who were spreading the hate not the poor actor. I had to block a number of accounts just so that my eyes won't hurt. The language was so bad there.
Support ChengYi and Guoguo's rights protection!!! βοΈβοΈβοΈ"Be a person first, before everything else."…
It's sad to see that the fanwar has reached the international fans too and many of them don't even browse weibo so they don't get the full picture either hence only believing what the melon accounts post. I've seen people ganging up and bash Cheng Yi on Twitter now because of this. Calling him names etc. So saddening to see it really...

I feel you. I was fearing for the worst when I heard the news but when I actually went on Weibo I noticed that he had already posted the clarification and many fans already know that it was a false alarm. At first, I was extremely worried that Mysterious Lotus Casebook would be shelved had he really been banned. I don't want everyone's hard work go to waste. *phew* He really scared all of us but luckily this ended well :D
We have some trouble arising pals, seems like director Guo Hu got banned for some unknown reason T_T
Everything should be fine. Director Guo Hu just responded and the reason he was banned by the system was because of an operational problem, and everything is fine. He was not familiar with the authentication process so he messed up and got banned as a result. It will only last for 7 days. It wasn't because he did anything wrong haha He's just 2G and didn't understand SNS well enough.
I got scared for a second but luckily this was a false alarm.
CY's trending again in Weibo today. Today's topic causes a bit of a discussion. Basically, it relates to Cheng…
Is it just me or does it feels like the hot search was bought by a competitor or antis? Usually the complains about the original voice comes out right after the first episodes have just aired but this drama has already aired more than 15 episodes yet they only mention it now? But nonetheless, I find it funny that this time many major marketing pages actually spoke in favor of Cheng Yi which surprises me because they often don't do this haha Many passersby also complimented Cheng Yi so I'm relieved. Although I do agree that there's always room for improvement but I actually find his original lines quite good already (trust me, his line delivery is way better and more natural than many actors out there) and if he's heard about the constructive criticism then I'm sure he'll try to improve on his line delivery in the future.
Damn, I can watch a 20 episode series spinoff of YY parents. CY in that silvery hair is so HOT, and his evil smirk…
I think their story would make such a refreshing storyline for a spinoff drama. It would be different from other xianxia dramas too. Too bad their story only lasts about 2 episodes :( I need more of them... I was totally glued to the screen today.
There are few handsome actors who successfully sported the white hair but I've got to say that Cheng Yi wins top 1 place in my book. He really kills it with his appearance and brings the white hair look to the next level.
How did daddy demon die if he can reverse time ? π€
Yup. That's my take as well because as evil as Xuan Ye might be, I don't think he would actually want to fight or harm YY even if he were still alive. Like Ran Qing, Ying Yuan would have been his weakness so the one fighting with YY is definitely caused by puppet spell. I doubt he's the real Xuan Ye. Sexy daddy Xuan Ye has been dead for many years already. :(
How did daddy demon die if he can reverse time ? π€
Good question. I'm scratching my head for that same question too. Why on earth did he leave YY alive when he killed other people. Even though they were friends but I doubt he cared about YY enough to leave him alive. I haven't read the novel so I don't know the real reason how YY was able to survive...
How did daddy demon die if he can reverse time ? π€
I heard that HQ has always been planning to take over the world so he executed all his plans very carefully and befriended important people, used people who cared about him to achieve his goals. A true mastermind behind all the catastrophe that happened in the Demon-Celestial War. The main reason why he did all that is unknown to me but I suspect that he was simply just too ambitious and power hungry. Though, I'm not sure if he existed/was in picture when Xuan Ye and Ran Qing's story took place. I just read that he used a puppet spell to create an illusion of Xuan Ye to fight with Ying Yuan.
I saw xuan ye and ying yuan fighting in one of the leaks or trailers so i pray he's alive
Yup. That's exactly what some of the Chinese viewers are saying. According to them the main villain was using a puppet spell so the one fighting with Ying Yuan wasn't the real Xuan Ye. I don't think Xuan Ye would fight with his son like that.

I read from the comments on Bilibili that the Xuan Ye we see fighting with YY is not the real him but an illusion created by the main villain HQ since he knows the puppet spell. The real Xuan Ye had already died even before YY was born and the one who vanquished him in the end was Ran Qing since she was the only one who was capable of doing that because he loved her :( Of course, take all of this with a grain of salt since none of this has aired yet... but it does sound quite legit :D
I just read on B station that Xuan Ye only appears very briefly in the flashbacks near the final episodes and…
I know right! The plot is quite refreshing so it would make a compelling story with a grey male lead character like that π Doesn't even need to be a super long drama, 20 episodes would be sufficient if they ever wanted to make it into a standalone drama *my wishful thinking*
