Btw, Cheng Yi opened his instagram account, have you guys followed him yet? It's so funny that he already opened the account back in February but no one was sure if that was him until we got a confirmation today. Based on the fancams and the slight difference in the TV version, Cheng Yi was seen from the bts wearing another cloak during the last scene at the beach + in the CCTV8 version there was already a different dialogue compared to the iQIYI version.

Now that the finale has already aired for those who bought fast track, but MLC still continues to gain more popularity. I've noticed that this drama got more and more popular in China these days. The drama and Cheng Yi keep trending on search while in the beginning there was hardly any. MLC had very little marketing but got popular due to word of mouth and I can only imagine how more popular it could have been had they not change the schedule and end it so quickly. The heat index could have been even higher but anyway, at least MLC has managed to get into the list of iQIYI's most popular dramas in history and it is the only wuxia drama on that list.
