My take is he knows it's not her but has to go along with it. It's clear the "father" who raised him after his…
Yep, that's why my immediate thought was that he must be faking it. The acceptance was way too quick and smooth compared to when he was doubting lan che in the earlier episodes. So he was smart but always careful with his decisions so far.
I agree about the comedy cause it feels... off... it's like, i know this situation is supposed to be funny but…
I don't mind that this show has comedic aspect. I love when gloomy shows surprises me with comedic breaks, if it's done correctly. Here though, it's the delivery that makes it unsatisfactory for me.
I swear they totally purposefully cast neo just to make that pun about him being a hou (monkey). And wellllll,…
My theory about the weird comedy situation is: they're lacking a character like gong zishan (MJTY). Someone that's willing to commit herself to the comedy and throw herself (sometimes literally) into the scene. I suppose bai jiu is probably here for that purpose. But the actor is just too green to understand the flow... instead, he just, screams. And the choppy editing did not help. I don't hate the kid actor, i think he's brilliant. But not seasoned enough for the role, imo.
I swear they totally purposefully cast neo just to make that pun about him being a hou (monkey). And wellllll, the white face filter is here, but okay, i can accept cause they are not meant to be human. I still don't fully understand the worldbuilding but hey, it's only ep 3. Last time i saw this drama would have 24 eps but now it's 34 wow. I hope they quickly get over this weird introductory phase cause everything feels awkward right now. Hopefully future episodes will be better.
Done with EP 3. Let's talk about it.Overall it's a decent watch. I like the outfits and cinematography so far…
I agree about the comedy cause it feels... off... it's like, i know this situation is supposed to be funny but the delivery is just not there. Probably because the overall pace of the show feels slow, the comedic banter just lost it's timing sometimes. It's weird cause in MJTY (sorry for the comparison), the comedic aspect actually feels on point, sometimes even being the highlight of the show, despite the overall somber tone of the drama. This one, unfortunately missed the mark. At least from what i've seen so far.
I don’t understand why there are so many dramas from cnetz and here when I really enjoy the show?!? Everyone…
real. can't people just chill? sometimes fans blow things out of proportion and they force these celebs to behave awkwardly just to avoid controversies. it's inevitable to have conflicts and different opinions where there are a lot of people together in one place. we could argue that bullying did or did not happen during the recording of the show but at the end of the day, we did not know what happened beyond these edited clips. these people are adults and i believe if they did feel wronged, the victim and their team would be the first to voice their opinions.
Although I really love to watch Neo in variety shows as it shows his personal charm, but this time the experience…
wait uh... do people really ship these actors irl like... actually think they have a thing going on romantically? i thought the shipping in this show was just for fun, like, when i call them sunrise couple it was just like that, a couple who like to watch sunrise together. but romantically? nahhhhh, i don't think that was supposed to be the case. anyway i love neo but i haven't been watching the latest episode cause there seems to be too much drama going on. probably just going to resume speed watching once it's finished.
Não é exatamente base/pó, é + o filtro e tratamento de imagem que acaba deixando todo mundo com mais cara…
I see, even the general color grading of the drama always leans toward cool tone. But the weird thing was that sometimes it makes the face and the rest of the body are of different shades and it's just really distracting to me 😅
A sweet healing drama but more aimed towards the ones left behind, I think. They did not really explore what was really the reason that makes nara decided to leave, to the point that I am afraid it's on the verge of romanticizing her actions... But I'm willing to overlook that in favor of the uplifting message, to the people who might blame themselves after this situation happens to their loved ones. Something felt a little bit awkward about the characters' chemistry, sometimes it took me out of the story cause they don't really feel like siblings but more like a bunch of boys having sleepover every night ^^; But overall still a very nice watch, like a bite sized bittersweet summer treat.
i heard good things about this drama. but when i took a peek at the novel yesterday, the first paragraphs got me instantly nauseous with the ML beating the FL's corpse because he refused to let her die in peace... is there anyone who has finished reading the novel and currently watching the drama that can convince me to watch this? i can accept sad ending but i can not accept toxic protagonist that stayed toxic until the end of the story...
Just started this today and now i'm on ep 6. I'm so confused of the logic of the show. Beishuang insisted to marry the Yunpei lord because she wants to help her people (the masui tribe), but now she's carrying the identity of enaqi so how was she planning to do that? Or was she just in it for the revenge? Bu then why insist to marry him, like how does this marriage benefits her exactly?
It was as if they read last week viewers comments and taking notes, because this week suddenly everyone woke up as a completely new person lol. If i binged this i would've gotten a whiplash.
ep 6 (part1&2): - i know they must be SO tired but their sleepy look during the trip to the museum are just adorable XD - despite the time constraint and the semi impromptu nature of the show i think they all did well enough, even victoria's little mishap with the lyrics is totally understandable (i would instantly crumble if i were in her position) - the birthday surprise was a success! - rong zishan "who wants to eat michelin?!" XD idk why but that was so funny to me - agreeing with everyone about the editing and the subtitles; it's all over the place. but, could this situation at the end of ep 6-2 be a prank set up by the production team? i mean the staff barely bat an eye during various mishaps that has happened so far, what makes this particular situation so bad in comparison to anything else? idk, i haven't watched the previous season of this show, but do they always have the same production team? if any, i think the staff had made way more questionable decisions during the shoot, and they have way more time to plan the trip compared to the mere one-day-in-advance that the chosen 'tour guides' have so far.
i'm surprised by the amount of luggages...which is the cause for most of their issues ! they are all travelling…
I am wondering if it's partly also because they usually travel, especially overseas, with their managers, so things like checking how many luggage should you bring, to the smallest things like parking tickets... Those are common things that are usually not being discussed, but if you often do it by yourself you just know it. Added to the fact that they're dealing with foreign languages, where machine translation often missed many details. Sometimes i think if only they have one member that is fluent in English or any of the local languages of places where they're going, things would be a lot easier for them. But maybe that's part of the charm of the show, we just enjoy watching them struggling ^^;
i know it's morally (religiously? lawfully? politically?) inappropriate for this drama, but, if only justitia was stationed in a country with something like sharia law that allows death penalty for murderer, instead of SK, then it would probably make her job a whole lot easier lol.
