The thing that makes me wonder is that, why can't bitna gave a guilty verdict AND THEN punish him with her own system? I guess it will be harder to cover her MO with the whole police and prison's security system guarding the criminal. But then again, with her power and the extensive minion networks, it's not entirely impossible either, right? This way, bitna and daon can work together to punish the criminal both with human law and the law of hell or whatever.

But the drama would not be half as fun as this i guess 😅

It's partly also because it's starting to look ridiculous how bitna keeps giving questionable verdict and getting away with it because conveniently she has powerful backing. With the way the society works now, the judicial system would not be able to withstand too many scrutiny without somebody taking the fall for it. And at the end of the day, bitna would be at the forefront.

I mean, sure, the drama and the whole revenge sequences are delicious to watch, but her plans just have too many risks. And she can't just keep brute forcing her way without repercussion.

I think the bit with the bereaved family in the latest ep kinda explains it. They know the killer is dead, but they're not happy about it. They want the killer to acknowledge his wrongdoing, and beg for forgiveness. But the way that it happens now, the legal system did not acknowlegde his crime, so even though everybody knows he's a killer, justice according to the system that they know of has not been served to them.

Perfect for binge watching is correct. I watched the first 5-6 eps during the release but decided to wait until i binged the rest of the eps last night, 1.5x speed 🤣. That eliminates all the aggravating part of the slow burns for me. But of course, not without skipping irrelevant parts like zhoumo and his bosses and his d*ad ex or sth? The married couple's conflict about buying house and miscommunication could be a good plot, but probably because they're too annoying i just couldn't care less.

iirc bael(?) mentioned how she could end up 'worse than dead' if she develop human emotions.. so i'm guessing, not exactly dead, but could literally be anything else. she could end up being human if they considered it bad enough i guess.

She posted a selfie after Chinese team lost a match? But what kind of selfie that could warrant such negative public scrutiny?

I don't follow chinese entertainment gossips on the local side so i could be wrong, but i heard rumour that c-netz are apparently not happy about zhou yutong's attitude in this show? They called her out for 'talking behind the senior's back' during the first episode, and something about her being a diva about taking photos? I'm confused. Does anyone here have more context about the rumors? Because as far as i'm watching, i found nothing wrong about her at all.

All i hope was that they would not have those weirdly white looking foundation/powder in the middle of their face like what happens in MJTY. Like, any other artistic choice about that drama, i could get behind, except the make up. And seeing that this drama seems to be heading to similar artistic direction... let's hope they'll fix that.

Ep5:
- hou ge and zhou jie never beating the sunrise couple allegations, i see
- them adoring the alpacas and then cut to them watching the alpaca meat being barbequed 🤣🤣🤣🤣

Ep 4:
- jin chen's sudden mood burst feels like a badly written reality show situation. Like, i don't mean to discredit her emotional state but so far she has been an easy going, no-drama kinda jie, so her crying just because jiarui ignore her for a moment feels very ooc. Then again we all have that moment where we just feel annoyed for no logical reason so maybe that was the case. Just, in the future, recalling such events might feel very absurd and embarrassing 😅
- the ooc-ness even got zishan, the resident clueless didi, quickly realized that something was wrong. Jiarui was being the bigger person than me tho, probably them being constantly on cam put a pressure on him to get over the situation quickly.
- feeling sick during a trip is terrible, i feel so bad for victoria. Thankfully chen hao was there to help her. I hope she would get well so on.
- was jiarui trying to refer to his character as a poison master in mjty? 🤣🤣🤣
- hou ge having so many shining moments, people were unable to agree on just one during the quiz 😅😅😅😅

Ep 3:
- they went to the wrong terminal and had to run all the way to the other one with all the luggage XD i swear this trip would drive me crazy with all the dynamics lolol
- jiarui struggling with the manual truck 😅😅 and he was so down about the driving situation aww baby it's okay, you'll grow with the experience
- jin chen wearing half face mask while mumbling about the pineapple all the while jiarui silently judging her 🤣🤣

Personally I know many people with characteristics like Chen Hao irl so I can kinda see where she came from. However, being on the receiving end of such treatments might not feel great, especially when they haven't even know each other that long. It could feel like a personal attack, especially when they're all not in their best condition. But yeah as I'm only on ep 2, I hope to see more side of her that's more sympathetic and supportive towards her juniors. And judging from the comments, seems like that'll be the case in the future episodes.

So far I'm not annoyed with Zishan, yet. But once he got over his initial awkward shy boy phase, he seems like typical happy go lucky kid who thinks he can flirt with anyone and just get away with it.

ep2-1 (editing this as i'm watching):
- the zhou-hou group planning to watch sunrise on the west coast lmao why are they so chaotic XD
- hitchiking random people's car to go back and the impromptu swim session was so cool, i need friends like them because i could never
- victoria being all of us; unable to resist spending money on cute little things
- jiarui's car rental group kidnapping random black dog to join their ride lololol i just can't with them (thankfully the owner seems okay with it)
- every strangers they meet/interact with in this episode are so nice, me and my anxiety constantly wondering howww

The thing that got me confused was why the crew insisted to make them wandering in the dark and rain during the first mission, while the casts already have plan to get some groceries cause they don't even have water in the dorm(!)? They did not even get a good footage out of it. In addition, It's clear that the casts were already very exhausted at that point.

Currently watching the first episode (or 1-1 as the title from hunan tv playlist indicates), and Chen Hao does seem a bit overbearing. She kinda reminds me of my professor during critics session back then in my university days. While she probably has a good reason to give pointers to the kids, she was a bit impatient to let the kids process the questions and situations. Her being an actual lecturer probably added to her domineering vibe and the kids felt like being put on the spot.

I think she was probably the type who likes to be fully organized and has fully detailed itinerary, while the others are more relaxed, go-with-the-flow type of travelers.

So far I'm quite impressed at minghao's calmness in dealing with various situations, and jiarui's surprising talent to organize budgets. Meanwhile, poor maknaes being so stressed, I hope they got enough sleep during the trip.

Finished! It was a light and cute show. A stress-free watch cause every character was so nice, even the begrudging ex was nice!

Watching this on viki and had to recheck the year this show came out and I was appalled. The graphic quality looks so dated that makes it feel like it came from the 90s. Haven't got that far into the series so i have no complaints so far.

i mean we saw the teaser and we basically knew what was coming. i watched the first 5 episodes and even though i like them and their chemistry and the whole gang, i'm not sure i can hold on waiting for them to actually make progress until at least episode 24 or something. i guess i better wait and binge the whole thing once it's completed.

perhaps they exchange him SA-ing her into just being abusive to her in general? honestly i came here because of liu yuning and then i read the novel because i was curious. i was not sure if i could stomach him being purely toxic male lead so obviously i'm all for toning down this aspect on the drama.

regarding the rebirth, it's totally possible to change this aspect, but then how would they address the age gap would be a tough challenge otherwise they could age her up to at least being legal or something. the power dynamic is already present enough with them being so visually contrasting in height and build anyway.

at the end of the day, as long as they're able to make a cohesive storyline where no bad guys and bad behavior goes unpunished then i would be satisfied enough i think.

Hmmm sounds juicy. Iirc in the teaser he was identified as a murderer so i guess things will get interesting. Note: i've only watched the first episode but i see people comments seems to be heading to that direction.
