Ew what a disgusting shit. Cheating, sleeping with underage girls while they were drunk, tax evasion, drugs, and ties to the the yakuza??? Like sir, if you were born with a beautiful face, use it for good.
It’s so annoying like can’t the 2nd female lead be a decent person and the ML be nice to females other than…
It’s so annoying too how the male leads can be friends even when they’re fighting over the same girl but the female leads have to be enemies or dislike each other just bc of the Ml.
There is a japanese drama version from 2016 but I doubt its as good… it would be interesting to see a korean…
The movie is a continuation of the drama and is quite good. The story of Mars is originally based off of a Japanese manga after all. If anyone can do it justice, I think a Japanese series would be better. Korea will just drag it out and add unnecessary filler.
Taiwan and Japan has long been exchanging ideas anyway with most early 2000s Taiwanese dramas being based on Japanese mangas. They’re both good at portraying heavy topics in a lighthearted refreshing way.
Tell that to the korean population lol. SK is probably the most anti-lgbtq country in the world among modern countries…
?? I’m not talking to the Korean population. More the people in the comments outright being homophobic. Korea has many crappy dramas starring straight people, but do you see anyone complain about the sexual orientation of the characters?
hello I have read a few comments about kdramas being westernized. please explain to me or give examples of what…
Crime and law dramas have been trending lately just like how melodramas were popular in the early 2000s, romcoms in the early 2010s and supernatural dramas in late 2010s. America, UK, and some other western countries often associated with the violent crime genre so people assume the genre being popular in Korea right now is a sign of westernization.
More people internationally are becoming interested in kdramas and producers can see that which is why they make more such dramas to meet the demand. I’m personally sick of these dark dramas because every country has it and it’s not like we’re in any shortage of it.
It wasn’t great but it was watchable. But of course instead of just saying that, some people needs to go on a rant against “woke culture.” Which just means they hate seeing minorities and LGBTQ people on screen but are too much of a coward to say it bc they know they’re in the wrong. Hence they’re using the same old “everything is so woke now” excuse to hide behind.
In case someone needs to hear this, a show can just be crappy. And that’s fine. It has nothing to do with wether it has straight, gay, lesbian, bisexual, asexual people in it. Same goes for the ethnicities of the people. It all comes down to the ability of the writers, directors, and actors. Doesn’t give you the excuse to hate on LGBTQ people as if they’re the sole reason why a show underperformed. There’s so many trash dramas starring heterosexual people but do you see me hating on straights or complaining they should never be on screen again? You can tell any kind of story successfully as long as you do it good.
I don't see why some people are so overly protective about this drama like it's something personal. If it was…

Korea has lesbians as well. Why is it a bad thing to portray them on TV? Stop being homophobic. People of color and LGBTQ existing on the screen doesn’t mean it’s woke. Sit down. I wasn’t a fan of this drama either but it being “woke” has nothing to do with the quality. Extraordinary Attorney Woo also had LGBTQ representation and it was great. Bliss and gore is a trend. LGBTQ representation is not a trend.
The ML actor in this has been playing the 2nd ML in dramas for eternity and most ppl were really happy to see…
It’s so really funny yet sad at the same time lol. I was going to give this a try despite college and sports drama in general not being my thing bro finally see him get the girl.
