Since when have dating rumours become something to report on MDL? Is this normal or I've just not been paying…
The guys she’s dating is a criminal so everyone’s been talking about it. This article is badly written though. They’re focusing more on them dating than him being a shady criminal.

Why is this anyone's business? Why is this posted here? Are we gonna post about every celeb's dating life in here…
The guy she’s dating is a famous con man who swindled a lot of money and was even sent to jail. Here’s the full article from Soompi.

https://www.soompi.com/article/1547154wpp/park-min-youngs-agency-briefly-comments-regarding-her-dating-reports

Idk who wrote this one but they’re not focusing on the big picture. People aren’t concerned about the fact she’s dating, rather who she’s dating.

Where is this double standard you’re speaking of???? People are watching dramas like Draw the Line and Examination for Everyone just fine and they’re both propagandistic dramas like Hutong. The difference is those were made well and had more substance beyond the propaganda itself while this is too on the nose and people are just pointing out they won’t be watching it bc it’s too on the nose. Notice they didn’t say they won’t be watching it bc it’s propaganda but bc it’s obvious that’s it’s a propaganda. The point of a well done propaganda is to deliver your message to the audience, making them sympathize with you without making it obvious and this failed. That’s all.

Literally go visit the comments section of Draw The Line and you’ll see the difference.

I’m Chinese? Like calm down. No one said America doesn’t have propaganda (ugh Purple Hearts) but America having propagandistic media doesn’t take away from the fact this drama is also propaganda. It’s just very badly done and so on the nose that people are talking about it. You can’t blame people for pointing out the obvious. You don’t see the same thing with Draw the Line despite it also being a flag waving production also produced by MangoTV bc it’s actually a great drama.

nah i’m sorry but I have to laugh. So many people heated about this drama being too patriotic and propaganda…
No one said America doesn’t have propaganda either? All countries have their own propaganda ingrained in their media. No one is denying that. People are just pointing out this drama is a propaganda, which is a fact. You can still watch it like no one is stopping you. The same thing happened with Top Gun which was obviously American military propaganda; those who thought so didn’t watch it and simply pointed it out, those who didn’t mind it, watched it. What, are we not allowed to say our impressions of a drama that is so obviously propagandist in its comments section?

Dunno what's with JP & crazy, obsessive, stalkerish third-wheels that seduce taken men? Can't they have two couples…
This is most romance dramas/shows regardless of country of origin tbh.

is this about the beginnings of communism in china? people were happy about that?
You know you don’t…have to watch it right? Just bc your fave is in it. Especially Zhao Lusi has so many other dramas, you can literally choose any of them to support if it’s so hard for you? Low key scared we won’t get anymore complex dramas like Yanxi Palace but more patriotic flag waving dramas like this if they think international fans likes watching them.

Bahaha. I’m glad to know the cringy flowery language was done on purpose to show that they were fooling Injoo and not an actual serious dialogue the writer wrote. I was cackling the entire time Do Il was talking about how when you’re galloping you need to trust the horse and “I’m that horse.” (Reminded me of the twin flames bandelion nonsense from Eve). Also didn’t get what was so special about Injoo but nice to know it was all a lie.

when the ML becomes the female, he doesn't really has her personality. the FL personality when she's herself,…
She’s in a completely different person’s body, a male one, AND a public figure at that. Of course she wouldn’t feel as comfortable and confident as she does in her own bc she naturally has to pay attention to every detail and make sure she doesn’t slip up in front of the camera. The ML on the other hand becomes an ordinary person in the FL’s body really only has her parents and bff to lie to.

No problem. Also, it takes about the first 4-6 eps for there to be another body swapping so give it some time.

I feel bad for Hyorin she needs some perfessional help. HOWEVER , i so badly wanted to snatch that dashcam footage…
Inhye is annoying with how disrespectful she is to her family but she's the only one fo the sisters thinking about her moves rather than rush into things.

LOL the whole time I was literally screaming at Injoo to knock out the rich girl and run away with the footage. Who cares about some girl you don't even know that well when an important piece of evidence is in your hands? She and Inhye are both weirdly devoted to Hyorin.

I have a hate/love relationship with Inhye. She's almost like a robot it's scary but she's the only person rationally thinking about her moves rather than rush into things like Injoo and Inkyung.

The orchid didn't led the death of anyone. Its simply used as a symbol by the actual killer like some killers…
"All in Joo knows is that the orchid is present at every crime scene. Since its a rare flower not everyone will have access to it. What if the killer was using a red rose? Will people stop buying or accepting red rose just because it's spotted at 2-3 crime scenes?
In Joo accepted the orchid because sanga gave her that as a gift."
You're literally contradicting yourself here. The writer made that purple orchid the killer's calling card BECAUSE it's a rare flower not everyone will have access to. It literally means that only the killer and those close to the killer would have the flower in possession. And it is someone close to whom Injoo suspects is the killer who gives it to her ---> his wife. The red rose analogy does not work bc it's a very common flower to everyone has access to. If a red rose was the killer's calling card and the killer's wife gave her a red rose but Injoo still takes it home, its a little more believable why she might not suspect anything. But the drama purposely made the calling card a VERY RARE flower, literally named the Ghost of Vietnam that does not even grow in its natural habitat anymore. It's so rare that Inkying had to go running all over the place trying to get information about it. It's literally what the symbol of the secret society is. How is it the same as a rose?

The orchid didn't led the death of anyone. Its simply used as a symbol by the actual killer like some killers…
I never said the orchid directly caused deaths but "led to." The writer has already established it as the killer's calling card and even had a character acknowledge that it might be dangerous to carry it around (Do Il). Yes whether or not injoo smelled the flower, the aunt would've died, YOU'RE RIGHT. I'm not saying the aunt wouldn't have been killed if she didn't smell the flower. Now that we got that out of the way I'll go back to my original point. In Joo knows that this is the killer's calling card or at least knows that it has been found in several different crime scenes all relating to Park Jae Sang's family, so why tf did she take the exact same flower from Park Jae Sang's wife, voluntarily take it home, and smell it? Ofc this is not a supernatural show so we understand that the flower is not literal poison or some kind of magical death flower but something that signals danger. All I'm saying is that a normal person would try to distance themselves from a flower, (a very rare one only a few people including the killer has access to) that serves as a calling card for murders ESPECIALLY IF IT WAS GIVEN TO YOU BY THE WIFE OF WHOM YOU SUSPECT TO BE THE MURDERER.

Quite true, from a certain point of view. Love this is, maybe.
I really don’t get why you’re misunderstanding my comment. My original comment was just a joke and I explained in later replies that it is a joke, hence the term crack ship. It literally means “ A crack ship is a ship that is highly ridiculous, bizarre, disturbing, and/or unlikely to ever become canon.” I AM acknowledging that a relationship between In Kyung and Jae Sang would be ridiculous but at this point I feel bored with the drama so I’m making up ridiculous stuff like this to keep me entertained. I feel like you’re taking this the wrong way and becoming defensive. The mystery itself is convoluted FOR ME and I’ve already tapped out of the show, just watching it for the dramatic factor buts it’s fine if you don’t think that way. AGAIN, MY 1st COMMENT WAS LITERALLY A JOKE (I even put a lol after it?) And I explained this to you on further comments. That’s why the other commentators replayed laughing to my comment. That was its intended purpose, to be funny and not at all be taken seriously.
