SEP’s so unnecessary. Now he’s trying to do something with the Prime Minister like can’t you at least talk with La El or have a concrete plan before joining the sharks? The way he brazenly admitted he has no plans 🤦♀️
Not y’all rooting for an unseasoned mayo. The actor is fine but the assemblyman character being in love with La El is so unnecessary. La El and him has had very few scenes and none of them has showcased anything romantic between them but out of nowhere he just starts declaring his undying love for her like lol.
It’s obvious the writers planned for La El and the chairman to be the main couple from the beginning. Once a drama introduces a random old lady with connection to both of them and stuff about fated twin flames, it’s virtually impossible for two characters to not end up together, dead or alive.

I mean did EP do the same? The two literally has no time together I mean he just pops in a few times to provide backstory and that is all his role has been for the past eps. It’s just weird to me that they didn’t have many interactions and he’s already in love with her. You can’t deny he also feels sexually attracted to her and was mesmerized by her figure when she was dancing. There’s obviously nothing wrong with that. I just don’t get why the chairman is getting shit on for feeling the same things? Like it’s normal for two people in an relationship to want to sleep with each other.
I actually don't care if she didn't end up with any of them cause I'm here for the revenge BUT if the director…
I mean Eunpyeong is also interested in her looks and elegance. The time they spend together are very limited and all the feelings he has for her are from her childhood which is just ew. He keeps flashing back to finding her bloodied which just tells me that he’s misjudging guilt and pity as love.
Han So Ra seriously irritated the fuck out of me this episode, especially when she slapped Ei😤
And her bodyguard and that Secretary joining in ugh. I understand having to please Sora but they seem to actually kind of care for her as their owner or something and were defending her.
I saw Sora stepping on La El’s hand and the chairman arguing with La El in the previews but I’m glad they’re showing her being defeated so she’s not completely a Mary Sue. I never liked the assemblymen character but I hope he can support her during these difficult times.
Great acting from both SYJ and Yoo Sun..But this episode was kind of too much, more like a performance than acting,…
I get you. When La El was confronting her fake mom, I was trying not to laugh lol. I guess they wanna showcase how she’s slowly going insane from pretending to be insane. The line between reality and pretend are blurring and maybe this is what they meant by “ Can revenge bring her the satisfaction she craves – or will it end up consuming her?”
Like La El did not want to be the pathetic mistress in love with someone who can never be hers but she’s slowly falling in love with him for real? If not love, at least possessiveness. She seemed genuinely offended when the fake mom suggested he’s just using her and her look of jealousy when Sora called him “my man” was real to me.
They reported the comments and got that account suspended. What cowards
"South Korea is the most misogynistic developed country. Their dramas are affected by their culture" By your logic, Korea's BLs should be worse than their straight dramas bc LGBTQ people are treated far worse than women in that country. This is not the case. There are good BLs and straight dramas and there are bad BLs and straight dramas. Sexuality has nothing to do with it. I'm sorry you met some horrible ppl who generalize BLs but that does not mean you should do the same to others.
Also, I would hardly call BLs LGBTQ representation just like I'm not looking for strong female representation from mainstream dramas. They both have cliches and tend to fetishize characters in order to appeal to a wider demographic.

"Every single "straight" identifying person is trash because they benefit from this patriarchal, homophobic system."
We can't control our sexuality, that's why discriminating agaisnt LGBTQ people are wrong and the same goes for straight people. You using the same logic homophobes use to call all straight identifying people trash yet acting all houlier than thou is so funny to me.
IS RAEL'S FAKE MOTHER MAYBE SORA'S REAL MOTHER WHO GOT ABUSED BY SORA'S DAD? , COZ SORA'S MOTHER KEEPS TARGETING…
I think Sora's mother might have been similar to KYG's mom, a maid or some helper which is how the Prime Minister was able to abuse her. La El's fake mom seems to be well off and donated a lot of money to the kindergarten foundation (which is how La El's fake daughter was able to join the royal class). I don't think no matter how powerful, the Prime Minsiter would've been able to abuse a prestigious family's daughter and get away with it. So far we have seen the father daughter pair only go after ppl who are below them and he was not even the Prime MInister yet when Sora was little. But then again, we don't know Sora's dad's backstory either. He might have been a normal guy with a normal family who started out as a fair politican like Seo Eunpyung but gradually got corrupted and started beating his wife.

I had a similar thought but I don't think so. Her whole plan is exposing the prime minister and his shady dealings involving LY group, that woulc mean both the prime minister and the chairman will be ruined. Sora literally has no skill or business of her own so if her husband and dad are ruined, she would have no one to depend on. If La El's fake mom really was Sora's mother, she would not do anything that would harm her. She still loves her daughter; remember the scene when she picks up La El and talks about how they took away her precious daughter from her?
Today’s ep was just dealing with the aftermath of the reveal, otherwise not a major one in terms of plot development. Ep 10 seems to be where shit goes down with La El telling the chairman she wants to be his wife not his mistress. Seo Yeji is having so much fun with this role. The confrontation she had with the fake mom as well as with Sora in the dance studio gave me goosebumps. Even the clothes she's wearing are so extra XD
The stunned faces on Sora’s followers’ faces when La El laughed lol. Them being startled despite dealing with the spoiled demon on a daily basis shows how much of a psycho our La El is. Sora better watch out. The real crazy psycho is here and ready to burn down your life. La El does seem to have some affection for her fake duaghter. She was seen laying down on her bed when she woke up from her nightmare. My ideal ending is La El raising the two girls with the chairman and the rest being fed to Kongja and Soonja.
Wow I was rooting for the bodyguard but it’s clear he has some kind of a twisted love/Stockholm Syndrome for that crazy bitch. There was no need to destroy La El’s stuff like that wtf.
No there are no indications in the series yet if she was raped. Yes she was tortured with her family but rape…
I thought so too but that was just her dad’s employees crowding around her and forcing her to stamp the stamp saying she will give up her inheritance right to the company. If you haven’t seen that scene, her current husband is one of the guys who forced her to stamp it.
