Finally, a reverse plot instead of the usual FL looking like the past dead/missing lover of the ML storyline. I find these short dramas refreshing as well, will definitely be checking it out.

I don’t even ship her with the chairman but some of y’all are messed up psychoanalyzing and assuming things about them people based on a random Korean drama. Just bc someone ships her with the chairman doesn’t mean they wanna be in a toxic relationship in real life.

It’s so annoying bc some of us actually want to talk about the revenge, Han Sora, La El’s mental health, possible endings and and things that actually matter rather than shit on fictional characters and resort to personal attacks on the actors and other users.

I really don’t get why you’re so worked up over this. I never said any personal insults. Saying there is a difference between fact and opinion is not an insult. All I’m saying is that La El is in love with the CEO. That’s a fact. The whole reason why the show is called eve is because she is committing the sin of killing the man she loves like how Eve from Adam and Eve ate the apple. The man she is slowly destroying is the chairman. That is a fact written into the drama. La El has no feeling for SEP and that is a clear as a day. You might think she does but that doesn’t make you right. Just like how you might go outside and think it’s 65 degrees but the national weather service states it’s 80 degrees outside and they would be right. The drama itself states that La El loves the chairman so idk what more I can say. I don’t necessarily ship her with the chairman. It’s is just a fact that SEP has no chance bc La El loves the chairman even if she might not end up with him.

She wasn’t glad her using was leaving for the US. She used the opportunity to further mess with the chairman. It’s a plan to make him do divorce his wife once and for all by showing him she can also leave whenever she wants if he plans to keep her hidden. It’s literally part of the plot. There’s a difference between interpretation and plain wrongness.

Exactly, his position in the story is crucial whether or not the actor is delivering ( i think he’s doing fine but the two female leads are carrying the show). the male leads both have one expression. the chairman has a deadpan face while the assemblymen always looks like he's about to burst into tears. i’ll take the guy whose position is crucial to the story than the guy who hasn't really been involved in anything for the past 10 episodes. we’re halfway through the drama and i still have yet to find him or his position interesting. this isn't me picking a team. i think both male leads are lacking, its just if she has to end up with someone, it makes more narrative sense for it to be the chairman.

She’s not living for him though. I don’t get why you think he’s the reason she hasn’t committed divide. She probably has more attachment to the girl she’s been pretending to be a mother to than a guy she hasn’t seen in 13 years.

It just seems to me like EP and LE shippers are making up things out of thin air. She definitely does not have feelings for him and he is definitely not the reason she hasn’t gone psycho. It’s probably more the daughter.

It’s a makjang. Of course it’s not normal. Toxic characters being in toxic relationship is the whole point of it. If EP was the male lead, there would be no drama. There’s no place for healthy normal relationships here. When there are people feeding people to dogs, causing a hit and run, cheating on their partners, and intentionally seducing a married men, EP’s character seems really out of place. If this was a romcom, he would be the ideal male lead but this is a melo/makjang. Counting the problematic things each character does makes no sense.

I ship it tbh. They have more chemistry together than they do with the two male leads.
