I am currently watching the Isan-milieu show Nha Harn The Series, and he is very good in it. It is really not his fault, it is the character that is written that way.

I am not sure if he is jealous or it is just his vanity got hurt. It seemed more like a prank to me. They appear to be superficial fuck buddies or something only. The guy did not even know Tae Hyun's address.

I say whatever I want and I am rude when it is necessary. This time I was not. It is called sarcasm.

I have not read the webtoon but from what I have seen my hunch is that Tae Hyun caused the death of his own family, and quite possibly raised by his aunt afterwards who kept telling him he was guilty and he was not allowed to be happy and smiling in the rest of his life. And that is why he keeps smiling even in sad situations.

Don't spoil me with the solution if you have read it, please. I wanna keep myself intrigued.

This show well balances the comedic and dramatic approach of a serious narrative, and it is not the production team's fault if the legendarily mature and sensible MDL commenters (megalol) fail to see Tae Hyun's actions for all their seriousness just because they are committed by a smiling charmer.

Btw episode 2 already makes Tae Hyun's character a lot more layered and complex, acting and plot are becoming better and better. I am already carried away by this series.

My Beautiful Man is among my top tier BLs of all time and this one seems to be an interesting and exciting psychological journey so far, and I enjoy it, but it is mind-boggling how some poeple could say this is milder than MBM.

I cannot really find any other explanation for that than Kiyoi was portrayed as a dark, detached and moody person at first while Jo Tae Hyun is played like a cheerful and sassy charmer. Yet another display how vacuously some viewers are stuck on the surface.

The first 4 episodes were entirely about Masumi and Ritsu. Then came the 5th which was more about Meguru and Yuma. The 6th was also concentrating on the main couple, Meguru's sister had a
3 minutes scene only, yet even that story was more about Ritsu's background and how he came to the thought of dealing with suicide. Episode 7 was again entirely about Ritsu and Masumi. And people go on and on about the side character dominating the show over several episodes which is objectively not true. Peer pressure at work.
