I did not say they are bad parents, no need for tantrum. I said they were irresponsible, and I am quite sure that is what they think of themselves as well.

Shit. Damian and Jerry were such irresponsible arses. Get tipsy on pride and losing Kai? And also letting him waving his teddy bear from the car up to the point of dropping it? Wtf?

Title HIStory4: Close to You Spoiler
Just completed rewatching HIStory 3 : Make Our Days Count properly from beginning to end. A truly amazing series…
I disagree with you about just one paragraph. MODC was truly amazing, except for the last episode, and not necessarily or not only because of the tragic end. Last episode was abrupt, forced, hasty, illogical, clichéd and sloppily done. There was one redeeming quality for it, though, and that was Wayne Song's acting tour-de-force. He was terrific indeed.

i actually broke out laughing when muren said i dont want to be a mistress LMAO
It is probably a translation issue. I guess they could not really find a suitable sex-neutral word that expresses the same meaning.

I have mixed feelings about it too. The boys are great, their characters are genuine and human and their acting is very, very subtle. It tackles some serious issues and the show clearly has charm and style. But the narrative is needlessly draggy and the conflicts between the would-be couples are simply not sharp enough to be worthy of so much hassle.

Fortunately, for the sake of adult viewers of the show, it is not gonna happen indeed.

Their stressing is one thing and (to me) quite irrelevant, but it is as dull as tootahche to come across these inflated meltdowns.

Oh, I have been blocked by yet another drama queen. What a patethic litle shit you are, ricaboo babes. I am not foaming, sunshine, I am amused and relaxed. Everyone could clearly see you have no argument but a passive-aggressive, pro forma agit-prop reaction from the beginning to stated facts. Simple as that. Now escape to your safe space :DS

Little dwarf, you are celarly not the sharpest knife in the shed. I am a gay man myself. Not everyone is a fuyoshi who is not squeeking like a pig and making teary-snotty tantrums whenever a BL show is not a 100% angry queer identity project for virtue-signalling, purist moppets like you. It is rather you who can piss off, considering you declared not to read anything I write and said bye while you still keep swaying your booty to me. Yes, it is clear, you are frustrated, no need to emphasize. If you manage to get rid off it, and grow some brain cells, you might start arguing like a grown up.

I had no mask from day one. The virtue-signalling, angry bird ilk of yours gives me the shudders. If that was not clear enough at the beginning, I confirm it.

Hao Ting and Xi Gu said exactly the same thing in MODC. And btw the Sun Bo Xiang-Lu Zhi Gang couple in MODC and Fei Sheng Zhe in Right or Wrong are the only characters in the entire History franchise so far who identify as gay. The rest just happen to fall into one particular guy alike, and although without saying that line, none of them feel the urge to stand up to a soapbox to declare their sexual identity. And that goes for other Taiwanese shows as well, like WBL. "I'm not gay I just like him" is lame and I could live without it, but the constant fireworks and tantrums about that, and for BLs not being LGBT series are not less excruciating.

On the contrary, the production values look way more lavish and slick than in the previous seasons.

Title Fathers Spoiler
They did get the child, remember, the picture he drew at the start of film, didn't had any hearts and name on…
Dads never gave up on their kid in the first place. Butr was only allowed to stay a few weeks with his biological mother. Yuke tells Phoon when they make up at the end that Phoon is still the legal father of the kid and they can take him back any time, if he wants to return. And from the drawing on the Fathers Day celebration as well as his attempted night phone calls we see he wants to. So he clearly goes home to his dads, even if it is not shown.
